Bardoliners

We have just returned from a wonderful 7 night stay at Bardoliners. Let me start with the bad points - there were none at all! Only that we couldn’t stay longer! Anja contacted us by WhatsApp before we arrived to check on our expected arrival time and to ask us if we would like her to book us a car service for our return to the airport after checkout. The charge was €65 by cash and it was worth every cent. We were collected just round the corner in Piazza Lenotti and were driven in safety and comfort, arriving at the airport about 30 minutes later. No stress and no hassle getting bags on and off busses. So, we had a wonderful greeting by Anja on arrival at Bardoliners. She made us very welcome and took lots of time to tell us all about the area and things to do. She was lovely to chat to and she was so helpful. Monica managed the breakfast every day (apart from one) and she was also wonderful. There was a great selection of lovely food and she was very friendly. The day Monica was not working it was Cinzia who managed breakfast and she also did a wonderful job. I think it is Cinzia who also prepares the rooms - and everything was spotless! The room had everything we needed, with excellent air conditioning and a great shower. We loved that the street was free of traffic as it was very quiet. We also enjoyed sitting on the roof terrace. Bardoliners would be the first choice for us on a return to Bardolino - the personal contact is so much nicer than what you get in a large hotel. And we recommend it to anyone looking to visit Bardolino!

My wife and I spent 4 nights at Bardoliners. From the moment we were met there by lovely Anja we were made to feel very welcome and had a great time. If you like small, friendly, clean and comfortable, this place is for you. Bardolino was very busy but Via Palestro is one of the quieter streets, right in the pedestrianised centre, like an oasis of calm. The location is great, the waterfront (access to the ferries etc) is about 30 seconds walk away. The B&B is lovely inside, our room was very well furnished with good air-con (which was needed as it was 35 degrees outside). Breakfast is very good, all fresh, and guests are looked after by the equally lovely Monica. The rooftop terrace is a great place to chill out with a glass of wine on an evening with views across the rooftops towards the lake and, despite the hustle and bustle going on in the town close by, you can hardly hear it. If we were to return to Bardolino, I wouldn't hesitate to book Bardoliners again.

From the moment we booked our trip to the day we checked out, we were made to feel welcome by the team at Bardoliners. The hotel itself is in a lovely traditional side street within easy reach of all that Bardolino has to offer. The hotel room was clean and modern, plenty of space and comfortably furnished. There is a fantastic roof terrace which has views across the rooftops to the sea. Breakfast was freshly prepared each day with local ingredients and there was plenty of choice. I would highly recommend Bardoliners if you like the personal touch rather than an impersonal chain hotel.

This boutique hotel more than matched our expectations and other reviews. Location was excellent, only a few hundred metres from sea front, on a quiet pedestrianised street. There are only 6 rooms, we were in room 57 (ask Marta to explain the numbering). Room was large and comfortable, fixtures and fitting were quality. Aircon and fridge worked well. Roof terrace does have sea views and was a sun-trap. Breakfast was excellent. Best of all was the welcome from Marta, she has an infectious enthusiasm and friendliness, she could not do or say anymore to make our stay a happy one. Once a Bardoliner, always a Bardoliner!

The consistently positive comments are all true. Rooms are cute, casual modern and comfortable. The location is in the heart of Bardolino. The primary host, Marta, is cheerful and extraordinarily helpful with everything from advice on activities to dinner reservations. Nice breakfast with many options. It is such a charming, perfect B&B.

We had a lovely 3 night stay at Bardoliners. The hotel is located on a quiet street right in the centre of the town. So close to everything. Nice modern decor. Bathroom great - really good shower. Breakfast nice selection. There is a nice little roof terrace. Marta the host is so helpful, she gave us tips on how to get about, public transport, booked taxis for us etc. And was so easy to contact via WhatsApp anytime. Would highly recommend, and will book again if returning to bardolino.
