La Rocca Camping Village

We had a week long break in early July with family at Rocca camping and had a great time. Firstly, all of the facilities are really new and clean which makes a big difference in a campsite. The restaurant on site was really great, with lots of choice and variation. It was more expensive than heading into the local villages for dinner but not too badly priced given the convenience. The location is superb, with access straight onto the Lake which also had very reasonable rental for kayaks, paddle boards etc… I have given it 4* as our accommodation (a safari tent) was in worse condition and more cramped than we have had on other sites and felt like they were well overdue being replaced. Also the pools here are modern but very small and busy compared with other sites, which is ok as a lot of people choose to go and swim in the lake. Thanks for a great week!

Great range of accommodation options to suit different needs and budgets. Great facilities included in the price, the heated outdoor pool was great since the weather in April was a little chilly! The kids really enjoyed the kids club and evening disco. Staff were welcoming , friendly and helpful! Great location along the lakeside and close to Bardolino and Garda.

It took me forever to find this place on google as it tends not to show up for English guests (mainly German) but I am glad it did! I use trip advisor a lot to guide us on our holiday and I was never comfortable booking at other Italian campsites - they just didn’t have the luxury element. This does. We stayed in a maxi - a really lovely lodge with private hot tub. There are not many of these accommodation options but having seen the rest of the site, I would book a caravan but you need to specify where you are and are it willing to stay - always go for the top part of the campsite. The lodges are compact and bijou but absolutely fine for us for a week. Pools are great. The top pool has stunning views of Lake Garda and it’s a 10-15 minute lovely stroll into either Bardolino (which is stunning) or Garda (which we never ventured to, as we fell in love with Bardolino (a beautiful old town with a huge choice of restaurants).

Great mobilhome, very friendly personal. But the mattress was a little bit hard for us.

everyrhings was perfect, but every night we heared some scratching/ biting noises fr9m the inside the walls of our house / btw.No.415/... The staf tried to solve this problem, but with no effect. Because of this we needed to sleep in the others houses...

Would highly recommend La Rocca. It is a great site in a great location with good public transport links and easy access to Lake Garda itself and easy walking to Bardolino and Garda. Facilities were excellent especially the pools. Entertainment was varied and engaging for the children with the pool party a particular highlight. The on-site restaurant is very reasonable. We found out about La Rocca by chance when looking at other campsites around Lake Garda. It is big enough to be interesting (with the farm being an added bonus) but small enough to not feel too busy. There was never a problem getting sun loungers by the pools even at 11:30am. I would say this is a bit of a gem and we cannot wait to return.

We had a very enjoyable family holiday at La Rocca - family of four with 18 yo and 15 yo. We stayed in Roccalux 612 which had a lovely outside area and beautiful view. The accommodation was perfect for our needs, well equipped and spotlessly clean. Air conditioning in the main room only but it was enough to cool the bedrooms if doors were left ajar. We enjoyed the disco showers! Don’t forget the insect repellent if you’re sitting outside in the evening. There is a good mini market on site which is very useful. We used the pools every day and were able to find sunbeds at any time of the day. We didn’t use the clubs or animation but they looked popular, they weren’t pushy if you didn’t want to get involved either. The different accommodation types are well separated and the whole site was quiet after 11. The park is ideally situated for walking to Garda and Bardolino on the the lakeside path. We had a car and explored the towns around the lake but it would be possible to get around using the buses and lake ferries. Swimming in the lake was fantastic despite forgetting to pack our swim shoes for the pebbles! We had a fantastic holiday surrounded by beautiful scenery and would thoroughly recommend staying at La Rocca.

My siblings, partners, all our kids and our parents came to La Rocca for a group holiday. We absolutely loved it here. Our favourite part of the campsite was of course the panorama pool and bar. It is so safe, we knew at all times where the kids were and didn't have to worry. Alex at the bar was the friendliest most genuine person we met during our entire trip to Italy. He was so kind and couldn't do enough to help us . We all had developed a bond with Alex by the end of our trip for sure. The entertainment team were awesome. They were so kind to the kids and enthusiastic, even got the adults involved in some of the regular activities in and by the pool and made it so fun! All of the staff we met, from gardeners to the onside shop staff, bicycle rental shop and restaurant were beyond friendly. It had a homely family run feel to it. The food wad beautiful in the restaurant. The restaurant overlooks the lake as well as a stage where regular evening shows happen for the kids. It's lovely to have a meal and let the kids down to the stage for a little adult freedom! Cabins are simple but clean and perfect. The entire campsite is spotlessly clean. Great clothes washing facilities as well as clean spacious toilets beside both pools. The view from the panorama pool is spectacular. We would highly recommend this campsite and would likely return. Beautiful view from the mobile home overlooking the lake and the landscape. Very close to the nearby city’s 😊 Very nice are area nearby with wineries you can visit, and also the olive oil museum is worth a visit. We will be back
