Made extremely welcome, nothing was too much trouble, breakfasts excellent. Rooms clean and all usual extras included. Great location adjacent the sea and near all local amusements and various restaurants. Will return soon.

The hotel was lovely quality and both members of staffs were so friendly. The breakfast served was more than enough and excellent quality. The rooms have comfortable beds and nice size tv with some rooms that are sea view and we were lucky to have one of these and no extra charges for these types of rooms. Look forward to going back again soon.

What a lovely couple Katie & Steve. I travelled alone to surprise my daughter & Grandson, Most welcoming, very helpful information of what's available to see & do. Breakfast was amazing. Room was clean, plenty of tea/coffee milk, sugar. Only stayed a couple of nights but I 100% would stay again . Pauline

Decided to book a night away for me and my friend. She's stayed here with family and her dogs before, so recommended it. What can I say apart from what a fab little place.. to some it may not be a Palace but for us it was lovely...comfy beds, cute little welcome pack with tea/coffee/biscuits, fresh towels, hairdryer in the bathroom and literally when we walked in you could smell it had been cleaned. Steve and Kate were so accommodating and have plenty of breakfast /milk options for anyone with dairy allergies or vegan/vegetarian. We decided to go by train instead of driving due to knowing that parking can be limited in barmouth during peak season, and I'm glad we did as it was busy. They have a few rooms available with dogs and although there were some there you wouldn't know as they were so quiet lol. We will definitely go again, thankyou to them both 😊

We have been coming to Steve and Katie at crystal house since 2019, and are coming again for our 5th year with them 2023 (in a couple of weeks time!). I cannot say enough good things about them, friendly, helpful and an amazing breakfast. The rooms are lovely and clean, nothing is too much trouble and honestly we wouldn't stay anywhere else. If you want flashy modern white marble staircases, this isn't the place for you, but if you want comfort, a feeling of home from home and a warm welcome then I cannot recommend anywhere better. We simply wouldn't have kept coming for 5 years if we didn't love this little B&B and the kindness of Steve and Katie. Looking forward to being back in a couple of weeks and setting up the booking for 2024!

We’ve just left from our 1 night stay at Crystal house, what a fantastic experience. Firstly the normals bits - exceptionally clean, great location - great views from room 9. Now the important bits. We very rarely stay at b&b’s - we’re more a hotel type family. But Kate and Steve made our stay a fantastic experience and we will definitely be back. It’s the personal touches that count and Crystal house won’t disappoint - all the way down to a birthday candle for my little ones 4th birthday for breakfast. Thank you both for making us feel so welcome. You’ve got customers for life now!

Very Nice Hotel, clean,Quiet, Amazing location, Delicious Breakfast and the Owner very respectfully. The Rooms very cleann,showers perfectly also very nice Seaview , Relaxing Hotel with amazing owners

Will not be staying here again!! I have had 2 bad experiences here so should have learnt from the first!! I took my mom a few years ago for a nights bed and breakfast and when I got there was informed that breakfast was not included although it clearly stated when booking that it was! Their explanation was that I had booked through *********** which stated breakfast included but their policy had changed and unless booked through them could not have breakfast!! My 80 year old mom was very disappointed and we had to go and have breakfast elsewhere! I booked again a few months ago and was stated as a Dog Friendly Hotel! I booked for a night with my dog and when I arrived after a long drive from the Midlands was told that the room I had booked was not pet friendly and they could not give me the room! They said they only had 2 rooms that were dog friendly and mine was not and they had no rooms available for me although the money had already been taken from my bank account and they could not refund it! So not only could I not stay but I had paid for my room and was refused a refund!! Also I had real trouble trying to park as was only off road parking and was very busy!! Disgusting treatment!!!

I love this B and B , the best I stayed in Barmouth , excellent for the price as solo traveler, breakfast is fantastic and the bag of goodies they leave in your room . Kate and Steve are brilliant hosts, thanks for having me . Hope to come back next month .
