Higher Farm

What an absolutely amazing place! Beautiful stay from start to finish. Heather, the host was so lovely and inviting. Great communication too, text message on the morning of our arrival giving all the necessary details. The full English breakfast was superb. We have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending Higher Farm B&B.

I have stayed here several times, breaking a journey from South Wales to Cumbria. Heather and Neil are brilliant hosts who are welcoming and good company. The setting is wonderful, with far reaching views towards North Wales. The beds are very comfortable, as is the other furniture. The showers are excellent and the standard of cleanliness is high. Now, the breakfast - it is undoubtedly one of the best I have had in any hotel or other accommodation that I have stayed in! We are repeat visitors - when you find a good thing, use it!

We stayed in "The Stables" room with-in the main B&B it was perfect, great facilities in the room, breakfast was spot on so tasty and plenty of choice. We were then lucky enough to stay in one of the Shepherds huts on our second night stay, it blew us away the 50s style decor is excellent everything was perfect so much so we have already booked our next 2 night stay in one of the other huts. This is a super bed & breakfast in a lovely location with excellent hosts and delicious breakfasts. We will certainly be staying again if we come back to the area for a break. A comfortable bed, an ensuite wet room with wide doors, which might make it suitable for a wheelchair user. Comfortable chairs if you want to watch TV in the evening. Delicious breakfast which was cooked to order. Plenty of storage for clothes.

We have been there first time and really mesmerise by the view from garden .. the room was nice and clean .. the hosts were very warm and welcoming .. they made us really comfortable … breakfast was lovely .. all in all highly recommended…very peaceful and beautiful place to live 🥰

Heather is an amazing host. Friendly but professional, cannot do enough to make your stay as comfortable and homely as she can. The rooms are immaculately clean and are very well appointed and decorated. there is flat path (perfect for wheelchair use) directly from the large car park to the reception door and into the reception area. the two rooms we stayed in had wide doors and one of the bedrooms has a wet room style shower perfect for disabled guests. there is ample storage for clothes with large wardrobe and chests of drawers. The beds are beautifully comfortable. i would not hesitate recommending Higher Farm B&B to anyone for a stay. The exterior of the property is beautifully kept with wild flowers , farm animals close by. and beautiful views of the hills surrounding. Breakfast is absolutely delicious local produce and cooked perfectly by the host.
