WorldMark Bass Lake

Spent a week at WorldMark Bass Lake. Resort is beautiful inside and out. 5 minutes from lake and `15 from Yosemite (another 1 1/2 hours to visitor center) Unit was clean, well stocked and very comfortable

This is my second time staying here. The units & grounds are nice, well maintained. Great location to Yosemite. Peaceful area. Liked there is no timeshare pressure to attend anything. No resort fees.

Honestly, I don't understand how there are so many glowing reviews of this place or how it can be considered "gold crown". I just got here yesterday and have to echo another reviewer who said, "the property is old, worn down....and in desperate need of renovation. The carpet in the unit was so dirty that I wore socks to avoid the grime." Everything in the unit is outdated. Although my reservation was for the "Bass Lake" units, I was put in the Northshore Estates which is not connected to the rest of the property (can't even call it a "resort") where the "nicer amenities" and the walking trail to the lake are located. The "patio", which is in front of the unit and the parking lot, consists of a dirty 5' x 5' cement pad with a table and stacked chairs that's hardly big enough for one person to sit and still be able to open the door to the unit -- very disappointing when one of my biggest requirements for a resort is some sort of private outdoor space. The description listed "balcony/patio" but it’s hardly usable and not the least bit private since they're right next to the parking lot! Also, Wi-Fi costs $16 for a week. It's been a long time since I've stayed somewhere that didn't have free Wi-Fi was that was another surprise.

Overall this resort is clean and quiet. For a group of 6 people, there is only one shower. And in that bathroom, there is no exhaust fan.

This resort helped to make our visit to Yosemite a wonderful experience. The unit was well appointed with very comfortable beds. Everything was in great shape and very clean. The pool was delightful and our view of the lake was peaceful. Bass Lake was a cute little village with shops and dining. Boat rental was available at a reasonable price. Wine tasting near by and Yosemite was within an hour. I would highly recommend this resort Vickie and Mr. Savage made our visit perfect. Thank you

While the location is ideal, the property is old, worn down, filthy, and in desperate need of renovation. The carpet in the unit was so dirty that I wore socks to avoid the grime. Additionally, I was unaware of the two different parts of the "complex" and was housed in the area that was not part of the resort. The amenities in the area I stayed were not well maintained. The pool by was not heated, the lounge chairs were all broken, tennis courts were roped off, and just basically weeds and dirt. If I wanted to access the main property amenities, there was no walking access, and it requires driving to the main complex area. Also, there is only one full bathroom on the second floor, so if you have 6 individuals, you will all be sharing one shower/tub.

Very comfortable, roomy & great location, in fact Bass lake was a quick short walk! We loved everything about our stay but only minor complaint was that the TV's in our unit were pretty small & had poor resolution. I'm a soccer fan & 2 different tournaments were going on during our stay.

The only downside of this beautiful and comfortable resort is the lack of wi-fi. We had no phone signal for the first 2 days and had to purchase the service for a whole 10 days when we were only staying for 1 week

Very nice resort with a great facilities. Everything wasa clean and ready for us upon arrival. NIce, quiet resort with a great locations for Bass Lake and is on the way to Yosemite. Wonderful staff who took care of our every need.
