Only let down was the 7 men loitering around the car park at 9pm for over an hour drinking and walking around everywhere - I didn’t feel safe and I worried my car would be broken into. It was probably nothing, but why not hang out in someone’s room instead of the car park.

I stayed here with my partner last week and it was amazing; super close to the shops, nice room, very friendly staff, and was super affordable as well! 10/10 will stay here again soon!

We really had a horrible experience at batsman bay lodge,we were send back and forth to open the door of the room 3rd time and finally when it opened the room was not even cleaned,we went back to the lady in the reception and she was very unhelpful she directly said she doesn’t have anything for us so she will have to refund our money at 5:30 pm.We drove 7 hours and we felt helpless.I don’t recommend anyone to go through such horrible experience,the lady didn’t even try to help us.

Stayed for a night. Room was clean with nice and comfortable bed and pillow. Staff were friendly and helpful. Location was very convenient with many shops and restaurants within walking distance. Only disappointed with the condition and size of the bathroom - it’s pretty cozy especially the shower area. to me, bathroom needs a facelift. Overall, nice accommodation for a night or two.

Amazing! Had a newly decorated room, overlookung the bay, wirh a quaint balcony. The room had 2 sofas. We were greeted with a "gift" of chocolates on the bed. Espresso machine, kettle and fridge. If you don't want to make your own there is a cafe for breakfast and lunch attached to hotel. All other restaurants are within walking distance. Great variety and close to fresh Clyde River oysters. New managers were most hospitable and made us feel very welcome. Highly recommend the stay on the bay.
