Pleasing music, beautiful lighting and wonderful setting of room. Staff are so sweet and patient as well. The food was great and provided choices for vegan. 音樂優美，燈光柔和，房間佈置令人舒適。工作人員很貼心也很耐心。食物非常美味，充分考慮素的主義者。

So disappointed - booked as a last minute treat to visit Bath Christmas market Fortunately we booked on a Sunday evening which was much cheaper than a Saturday We arrived and were checked in efficiently - we were staying in room 205 - the room was small but it’s an old building so there was no surprise there. The bathroom was dirty - hairs on the toilet, the flush was worn and the shower screen was very dirty at the bottom. The toilet was propped up on a piece of wood!! I used the hairdryer only to find that it was melted and very badly damaged. We took it to reception and complained about the hairdryer and toilet being dirty. The receptionist apologised and said she would sort this out - we went out and when we returned the hairdryer was replaced and the toilet cleaned. There was a bottle of Prosecco in the fridge. The next morning we had breakfast - it was ok but nothing special - bacon was flaccid and sausage was not amazing quality. When we checked out the owner was present and asked about our stay. I expressed my dissatisfaction with the room and he offered a 25% refund and said he would e-Mail me offering a room upgrade should we stay again. We accepted this gesture and he asked us not to put anything on social media. To date I have not heard anything or received the refund they promised! This hotel was priced at over £400 the following Saturday - if I had paid this amount I would have been furious.

The gentleman at reception was far from helpful, when checking in he pointed through the restaurant to tell us our room was through there. No offer to help with luggage or facilities. When asked if we could park in the onsite carpark we were just told there was no space and to go to podium (no instructions where it was or how to get there). The hotel and room itself was nice but the room was unbearably cold, myself and my husband both had to wear jumpers to bed. The duvet was so thin which did not help. The plug didn’t work in bathroom. At 1am all we could hear was people above us stomping around and going up and down stairs, so much so the chandelier in the room was swinging. We were unable to have the lie in we needed due to being freezing so we checked out earlier than wanted. When we checked out the same gentleman with no hospitality skills was on the reception desk of which the only thing he said was “nothing left to pay”. Didn’t ask how our stay was etc. All in all we were terribly underwhelmed with our ‘superior boutique room’ stay, it was completely below any expectations and would receive better customer service from staff at a travelodge.

Easy 12min walk from the train station but not smack in the hustle and bustle of the city centre. They stored our luggage until it was time to check in. Room was good size for the UK, updated and modern. Good size shower and strong Wi-Fi. Main complaint is the room was very dim, lacks sufficient lighting. The stairs right outside our room were also unreasonably dim, a tripping hazard. Elevator was super slow.

A really great location, a clean room and comfortable bedding. But. The ‘double’ bed must have been made for pixies. And, in the restricted room and tiny bathroom, there was no chair, no soap, and no easy way of keeping the window open. Right outside the window was a number of huge extractor vents. Fortunately, we are not very big, are close, and had earplugs! On the plus side, the room and linen were clean and the water was hot. Our staff welcome was very friendly, but thereafter (once the 200+ had been handed over!) staff ignored us and our cheerful greetings. Think the phrase is “could do better”!
