The resort exceeded expectations…it was a surprise and delight.
The rooms were large and modern. The variety of food was wonderful and always delicious. The staff were friendly and very accommodating. Lastly, the resort was clean, well maintained and payed out efficiently. Beach area was outstanding.
Definitely planning on returning next year.

We stayed at Majestic Mirage "adults only". Overall our experience was pretty great! The resort is beautiful, room was amazing and clean (location was perfect... room 6420, top floor, away from elevators, music from the beach and courtyard were barely audible in our room), everyone was friendly, beach was amazing...etc.
A special shout-out to Lucitania at Drafts sports bar! She was absolutely amazing! We went there for breakfast most mornings and she was always so friendly and attentive... we actually looked forward to seeing her.
Also, Ana Luisa & Maria at Cafe Español (that was our stop every morning either before or after breakfast) were always pleasant and did a great job.
A couple reasons for us giving only 4 stars instead of 5:
1. Majestic Mirage adults only however, there is a family section and, kids from elegance and colonial are allowed to come to most (not all) areas of Mirage (including restaurants). As a couple that doesn't have children, this is why we choose adults only resorts. I will say it wasn't terrible however, if your tolerance for having children around on your "adults only" vacation is less than ours... go somewhere else.
2. Butler service was mediocre... minimal communication with our butler.
From what I could tell, in comparison to what everyone else received, I'm not sure what VIP perks we were supposed to get.
Overall, would recommend Majestic Mirage adults only.

What we didn't like was the lack of a responsible butler from the beginning of our stay. Most of the reviews applauded the great butlers assigned to rooms. Our butler never showed up in the lobby at the assigned time and only appeared once at our room. He failed to assist us with dinner reservations or anything else, and quite honestly, the resort itself failed to pick up the slack until the last evening we were there. The food selection and quality are other areas in which the resort needs to improve. Very bad!

it was an easy walk from on Majestic Resort to the other. great exercise after dinner
Every meal was better than the last meal. Restaurant staff, Perla, Marta Altagracia, Noemi were special. When I left to return home, I felt as though I was leaving my friends behind.
Animation staff: Saul, Louisa and Mille were amazing. they taught me several dance moves in a week.
Can't wait to go back.
Breakfast and lunch buffets were also super. 5's all around
The property was also spotless. The processing of checking in and out was speedy. No time wasted.
The room was so spacious, 2 TV's, one and half bath, balcony. My roommate and plenty of room

One of the elevators was not working, the rest is excellent. We have visited the resort over 20 times and always come back..

What a great time had at the Mirage!! Some minor bumps on the road but nothing the staff didn’t take ownership of immediately. Our butler Jose really turned our experience around and made a memorable anniversary trip . So many things to do at night that I found no need or desire to venture out of the property!

This is the second all inclusive I have stayed at. The food at the Market Buffet was much better than the food at the Seaside. We choose not to eat the Italian or French restaurants. The Steak and Sushi restaurants were decent food. The service at the Steak was meh and rude. The service at the Sushi restaurant was fabulous. Honestly, the buffet wait staff was top notch, always refilling beverages and always clearing plates, and their attitudes were vibrant and happy!
The room was cleaned every day and there was a turn down service- well done.
The butler thing is one of those take or leave things for me. Our butler was amazing and friendly, but I didn't need it. He found us every day, high fived us, asked if we needed anything.
The resort is large, very spread out, and there are at least 5 swim up bars. If you want space, you can find it. If you're looking for a central hang out, there isn't one. Bartenders were good. Nicer if you set cash out first.
JERRY at the piano bar is a MIXOLOGIST at its finest. He hand crafts every single drink. Smiles and chats with you. Try is Michelado (spicy) and Majestic Mule (cucumber). Everything he made was amazing. The piano bar is by the front entrance, so it is out of the way a bit and quite, but go see him!!!! He only works at night.
The ladies at the coffee shop work their tales off every morning. Go see them! They open at 8. Their coffee is way better than the room coffee.
