Bring your favorite coffee beans for the burr or blade grinder, then make the brew using our filtered water in the 1-to-14-cup coffee maker, or steep it in a French press. Black and herb teas are also available, as are basic spices. The five-burner cooktop and oven accommodate brunches large or small, and the microwave oven stands ready for quick tasks. Appliances include a bread/bagel toaster, Oster blender, Cuisinart food processor, panini press/griddle, crockpot, cake mixer, and handheld blender. It’s quick work to serve a smoothie, a chopped salad, or a crockpot dinner.An 18/8 stainless steel double sink is central to the granite-topped work island containing the silent dishwasher (pods provided), near the side-by-side refrigerator (automatic ice maker). For the more pedestrian, nothing beats that sunset stroll with little sandpipers rolling in and out along the shore at day’s end.In the afterglow, throw on a hoodie and bring out the fire ring: place it on the sand, fill it with wood, and light it. There are 4 kayaks, 2 standup paddle boards, boogie boards, and 2 bikes for enjoying the outdoors. Beach chairs and beach towels provided. Everything you need in bathrooms, hair dryers, straightening iron and curling iron. Waking to the north jetty you will see the historical La Janelle sunken ship. Restaurants within walking distance to eat in or take out. The home was remodeled 5 years ago and has electric blinds, tv surround sound, beautiful marble countertops and a Restoration Hardware Cloud couch. We are within walking distance of the Channel Islands harbor that boasts large waterways for kayaking or tooling around in an electric boat. Silverstrand is also a popular local surf spot, also great for boogie boarding and sand castle building. You are almost guaranteed sightings of sea lions and often can see dolphins too.
