My partner and I have returned countless times to this amazing guesthouse and would never choose to stay anywhere else! This place deserves more than 5 stars ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️! It is amazing and Annette and Mark are the most caring people ! Just got home and already want to come back ! See you again soon and thanks once again for making our break so wonderful xxx

Great Guest House in a fantastic location. Rooms are comfortable and well decorated. Some have fabulous views too. Breakfast is very filling with plenty of options and the hosts are friendly. Have stayed here twice now and already planned a third visit.

The B&B is in a great location, not far from the village centre and about 15 minutes from Snowdonia, which was why we booked it in the first place. It’s very comfortable and the room was clean, with a solid bed and modern shower and toilet. The food was freshly made and delicious. The hosts were very welcoming and friendly, definitely made us feel at home and we hope to return one day to explore more of north Wales. Might be an idea to book local restaurants ahead of time because they get full up pretty fast.

We stayed here recently for 2 nights the B&B overlooks the River Colwyn and is spotlessly clean and airy. The accommodation hosts a lovely dining area, Guests Lounge and Garden area so you don’t feel closed in as in some B&Bs. There is room to move around. The outside terrace was a particular bonus as we were able to sit outside and relax in the sunshine taking in the stunning views! Our room was clean with lots of little extras such as fresh milk, biscuits, water, tissues and toiletries. I always appreciate a shower cap, cotton wool and buds too Lots of nice quirky ornaments to feast your eyes on whilst enjoying breakfast which I have to say was very tasty and well-presented on both mornings. Hosts were friendly and helpful and even made us a great packed lunch for our day out in Criccieth on the beach. It was the first time I had visited Beddgelert and loved it. It is very scenic with great views of the mountains and lovely walks along the river and places to picnic. Plenty of places to eat out also. Yr Hebog was very nice and we were able to eat outside on the first evening we arrived as it was so warm and humid which was lovely. Everything felt on the doorstep and we would definitely enjoy staying there again!

Friday 11th August 2023, My husband and I were up at the crack of dawn and we packed a case for a two night stay, had breakfast and then put our case into the care and started our journey to North Wales. The day was warm but very humid as we drove through Bala and up to Llangollen and then through the mountain roads to Porthmadog. After visiting our friend who is terminally ill and at end of life care, we then drove up to the pretty village of Beddegelet, which has a wonderful river flowing through the village. We found a parking space and collected our case out of the car and walked just the few yards down the street to our guest house. We arrived at ‘Plas Tan Y Graig’ Guest House where we were booked in for two night’s bed and breakfast around 5.30pm. We were greeted by Annette and was given a very warm welcome. We were then shown to our room, which was ‘Room No 2’. It was a nice deluxe double room that overlooked the front of the house and had a wonderful view of the river flowing past, and was full of late afternoon sunshine. The furnishings were of pale grey painted wood in keeping with the age of the building. The bedroom was of reasonable size and the décor was done out in a light creamy beige stone coloured walls with a brownie grey ‘flower’ feature wall behind the bed. There was also some very nice artwork on the walls. We had a large double bed with white cotton sheets and duvet with a grey bed cover and soft grey and black, white and grey ‘geometric’ cushions. There was a fridge, on top of which was a tray with a kettle, bottled still water, and a nice selection of drinks i.e. tea, coffee, sugar and complimentary biscuits and chocolates. We had a fully tiled en-suite shower room, which had lovely piping hot water, and soft fluffy towels and complimentary toiletries. It was completely done out in white tiles with a bright ‘Patterned’ tile set in at random intervals and had silver bathroom fittings. In the evening we went for dinner at a local bistro, and the my husband and I then walked back to our guest house and we both went back to our room, where we snuggled up in our double bed like a pair of sleepy kittens and went fast asleep, we both had a good night’s sleep as the bed was so comfortable. Saturday 12th August 2023, My husband and I awoke bright and refreshed. It was raining heavily; it was if the heavens were crying for Malcolm, it continued that way for most of the day. I had a nice ‘hot’ shower and a cup of coffee in bed. We then dressed and went down to breakfast in the lovely breakfast room which overlooked the river. My husband had the full Welsh breakfast and I had a banana and yoghurt followed by a toasted bacon and egg sandwich with brown sauce, which set us up for the day. The breakfast was served by Mark, who was very friendly and knowledgeable We went back to our room before going out. Stayed for 3 nights to visit Zip World, Snowdon and Por**eirion. The B&B is in an excellent central location to visit all of these attractions around 30 mins. Beddgelert itself is beautiful and the views from the B&B are absolutely stunning. We stayed in room 7, top floor with fantastic views of the village, mountains and river. The hospitality we received from Mark and Annette was first class as was the quality of the B&B. The little extra touches were very much appreciated, milk and bottled water in the fridge, with daily biscuits and mini chocolates! Breakfast was a feast with so much choice, always freshly cooked, arriving hot and tasty 😋 They even provided almond milk for my daily porridge! This B&B definitely deserves its nos 1 spot and I would highly recommend it. Thanks Mark and Annette for making our Wales short break so perfect 😊

Wow wow wow - honeymoon heaven. Can not fault anything about this B&B ! As soon as we arrived and were greeted by Annette we knew we were going to looked after. Beautiful Victorian building that has been dressed beautifully. We had the Panoramic room which looked out onto the beautiful stream lovely room comfortable bed super clean exactly what you could wish for. Breakfast was served by mark who again is super friendly and welcoming. Great location right in the centre of the village we took the opportunity to use the garden terrace and watch the world go by if was perfect. There are plenty of great walks close by long and short with gorgeous scenery (Annette was able to advise) we chose to do - 3hrs Beddgelert Na**or it’s become our number 1 walk of all time ! We celebrated our honeymoon here and we definitely received the red carpet trea**ent - A lovely touch Annette & Mark generously bought us a super wedding gift what a surprise !!! Excellent in all areas 😃

Such a lovely couple of nights, from arrival to departure the whole experience was fantastic. Really good location in the heart of the village with various pubs, restaurants and shops on the doorstep, not to mention a few mountains. We'll be back!
