Dinghe Youth Hotel (Beijing South Railway Station Caoqiao Subway Station

I had a great stay at this hostel in Majiapu. The staff were incredibly helpful and welcoming, always ready to assist with any questions or needs. The facilities were well-maintained, and I was particularly impressed by the cleanliness of the toilets and common areas. One of the best things about this place is its location—it’s very close to the subway, making it easy to get around Beijing. Despite being in a convenient spot, the hostel itself is quiet, providing a peaceful environment to relax after a long day of exploring the city. Overall, this hostel is a great choice for travelers looking for an affordable, clean, and well-located place to stay. I would definitely recommend it and would stay here again on my next visit!

There is no elevator for the first two floors! It is a very good hostel with super nice staff. Bathrooms are regularly cleaned. Would book this room again.

Hard Mattress, low cleanliness.. at least there are laundromats? Not sure if free since I daren’t use them. The place takes in too many people for their ability to deal with them. The bathrooms smell nasty, poop is often outside the squatting hole, honestly I tried my best not to use them. Staff doesn’t care, they aren’t mean just detached. Common areas also with signs of year long unwashed filth🫣. If you can’t influence how the guests will behave but you can do a better job of cleaning up after them. Also top bunks have a hole between the (Hard) mattress and the wall so be careful your stuff will fall. Picture of poop is from a random entry. I had seen poop before, then came back to take a picture and there was poop outside again.
