Qinglian Furun Hotel (Beijing Railway Station)

Location be careful - It is located “inside” Zhong Gu hotel 中谷酒店 main gate。Nearly cannot find it. Otherwise. staff are helpful. and there is a compilation of attractions for Beijing. information and how to get there. Room Wifii is not stable hence the internet TV sometimes no signal. Otherwise the hotel is fine.

This hotel is value money for its price. This hotel consist of 2 floor. For those who stay at upstairs need to walk up without lift. The room is newly renovated and facilities is good either bed or bathroom. Hot water is hot enought. With window. Only downside is the heater is not hot enough in the winter. Everyday they change towel and top up 2 bottle of drinking water and throw rubbish. But never arrange the bed. Anyway I enjoy staying here. Just next door there is a convenient store that I felt very good store.

Stay for 3 nights (25- 28 Oct.). I didn't expect much since they offer quite low prices compared to other hotels in the area. They were kind enough to let me have a late check out at 2 pm. There is a nearby convenience store and only 2 minutes to walk to the main road where you can take buses (Tried using Baidu Map for the first time, I wish I could read Hanzi) . 10 mins walk to the nearest metro stations ( one at the Beijing Railway station).

Good hotel well located near metro line 1 & 2, as well as a small bus station (all within about 10 minutes walk). There's a convenience store just outside too. The outside area and reception area are well kept, it's handy having access to hot drinking water for noodles and tea, cold drink water and a microwave! There's also a fridge behind reception I could keep my drink in over night. They have some cute pets too (dwarf hamster, chinchillas, rabbits and a lizard!). Room was well sized, bathroom was big too which was a wet room style. So be aware when you shower the whole room will get wet, which is why I think the bedroom flooring just outside of the bathroom is damaged. Judging by the other rooms I think it's the case in most of the building. Although it's near the train line we never heard a train once! AC works well, towels and bed linen were all very clean. Only comments for improvement would be the very hard beds and mattress, as well as the damaged flooring in the bedroom. Free laundry onsite with detergent which was handy! Hang drying undercover outside only, so you might want to plan a few days in advance in the cold.
