Crystal Orange Beijing Nanluoguxiang Hotel

Great location for exploring the hutongs. Very nice breakfast options and good customer service. The room was clean and nice big bottles of water, coke, and drip Coffee are complimented.

Very friendly service and an excellent/beautiful location (see: the view from my room). Would happily stay here again!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Nanluoguxiang Crystal Orange hotel. Despite the language differences, the front desk were very helpful and went out of their way to help me activate my WeChat pay account and talking to the Didi driver that we ordered very early in the morning. The rooms were cleaned on a daily basis despite other comments. As for the breakfast, yes there was sweet potato and corn there but there was also fried noodles, stir fried vegetables, steamed dumplings, spring rolls, eggs. Western wise there was toast, muffins, salad bar, sausages, good coffee, juice and tea. Well worth the price. As for location we wanted somewhere central that we could explore after our daily tours. This hotel fit the bill where if you turned right there it was a lively street food scene. And if you turned left there were restaurants 10min walk away and a Lawsons and fruit shop handy. The only draw back was that when we order Didi we had to walk out to the main road, a 2 min walk. Due to the fact that the hotel is located in a Hutong area so the road is quite narrow. So would we stay there again? Yes.

Lovely hotel, staff really helpful and friendly. The only downside was that the room was hot and there wasn’t any air conditioning, it would be great if the hotel could provide a cooling fan. The hotel is near the subway which makes it easy for getting around the city. The nearby hunting is very touristy.

The Rooms are very spacious and beautiful. The breakfast is delicious and the staff is also very friendly. We really enjoyed our stay here.

The staff are very helpful and pleasant. The room is clean and comfortable. The location is very close to many restaurants and sight-seeing spots.

We really didn’t love our stay here, and won’t be back. We initially booked a room with a bathtub, but on checking in we were immediately told that the room wasn’t very good and they recommended we upgrade. We agreed, but were then told the only upgrade alternative that also had a bathtub was the most expensive room - not the most hospitable welcome. Also, the room was freezing when we (paid) for the strongly suggested upgrade- the AC heating unit took a long time to heat the space. There was a bath, though, and plenty of hot water. The wifi connection was patchy at best. There’s a cute little delivery robot though that brings things to the room, so we did like that. The location is ok, but for the price you could (and we did) stay somewhere very slightly further away for the same money, but with much better service.
