Beijing Wtown Resort

I stayed at this hotel for one night during my trip to Gubei and the Simatai section of the Great Wall. I chose this hotel because it’s relatively large and offers great views. The room was spacious and impeccably clean, and the breakfast was impressively grand. However, I encountered an issue with a neighboring guest smoking in their room, and the smell seeped into mine. I reported this to the hotel staff, but they were unable to resolve the problem. Overall, while the hotel has many positive aspects, better enforcement of non-smoking policies would enhance the guest experience.

Comfortable stay with helpful staff. Lobby Manager 佟经理 is friendly & helpful, provided guide to activities in within town & helping us in the check in & check out processes. Hotel staff responded quickly to all the request even though it’s midnight hour. Will definitely visit to this hotel again!

♡ A Magical Experience ♡ We had an incredible stay at the Beijing Wtown Resort (古北之光度假酒店), a luxurious property nestled in the scenic Gubei Water Town. The hotel’s unique W-shaped design added a modern yet elegant charm to the resort. The property was impeccably spotless, spacious, and offered 5-star service throughout our visit. Our room was a highlight, offering a direct view of the Great Wall of China—a breathtaking sight that made waking up each morning truly unforgettable. Another standout feature was the free access to the nearby hot spring, conveniently located just steps from the hotel. It was the perfect way to unwind and relax after exploring the town. The staff at the hotel were outstanding, and a special mention must go to Ms. Yang LiJun (杨利君小姐), who went above and beyond to ensure our stay was seamless and enjoyable. She assisted us with every aspect of our visit, from ensuring our accommodations were perfectly arranged to organizing a memorable Christmas Eve dining experience. Ms. Yang even went out of her way to help with our transportation back to Beijing City, which was particularly thoughtful given the distance from Gubei Town. Her warm hospitality, attention to detail, and professionalism truly stood out, leaving us with a lasting impression of her exceptional service. In summary, the Beijing Wtown Resort exceeded all expectations with its stunning design, luxurious amenities, and dedicated staff. We are deeply grateful to Ms. Yang for her efforts in making our stay truly special. This resort is a gem, and we look forward to returning in the future.
