Gloria Verde Resort - Kids Concept

This is our second visit to the Verde which we prefer to the Gloria Golf. We found the all of the staff very attentive, the place is spotless, the food excellent. We played golf at the New and Old course which are as good as anywhere and again the staff excellent. Already planning our golf visit for next year.

The wife and I have been going to Gloria Hotels in Belek twice a year since 2005. We have used the Verde for the occasional meal and social functions but never stayed. We usually split our holiday between the Serenity and the Golf however the latter is being refurbished so we thought we would give the Verde a go. We move on to the Serenity for an eight day stay shortly but would be happy to stay. That is saying something when you think of huge price difference. It hasn’t got all the bells and whistles of the Serenity but the food, room and refreshments are just as good as the Golf Hotel. Dinning at all Gloria Hotels is always top notch and quality of the buffet always impresses us. On this occasion the hotel was not full and the service from every member of the staff was amazing. Evening entertainment was also good and varied. So well done to all at Gloria Verde we will not hesitate to return.

We visited Gloria Verde again as we just love this hotel. Eight of us visit every spring to play golf and having discovered the Verde hotel we return to the same place each year. It is large enough to have every facility you would want but not too large to be overwhelming. The food gets better if that’s possible and nothing is too much trouble for the staff who are welcoming and friendly.

Truly exceptional. Travelled with a group of 8 golfers and had this hotel as our base. Rooms were spacious and comfortable and perfect for our needs. Fantastic facilities with a variety of pools as well as the beach. Excellent friendly staff serving great food all day from great freshly cooked omelettes in the morning to freshly grilled steaks and kebabs at lunch time and then to fine dining restaurants in the evening. We had side to take one member of our party to hospital during the stay and the staff at the hotel didn’t let us down at all with the amazing Merve being on hand at all times. Thank you all so much for a fabulous time.

We have been to the main Gloria Resort but due to refurbishment we chose to stay at the Gloria Verde . The service and quality are fantastic and we would like to thank Elif Secil Ozcan and her team for everything they did for us during our stay . Thank you to the Verde you have been excellent.

I have stayed at the Gloria Verde many times before. We as a group enjoyed another trip this year. All the staff across the board are excellent and so well trained. If you enjoy good food it's all here, from breakfast through to dinner. The golf courses are very well kept and a challenge for all handicaps. We are booking for next year!!

This was our 8th visit to the Gloria resort in Belek 4 times at the Serenity and now 4 at the Verde so obviously we rate it very highly. Staff are great, food is very good and golf facilities are excellent. The reason we are considering not returning again are as follows • The Gloria resort had become busier over the years especially with groups of golfers which means not only is the hotel more crowded but the golf courses are also very busy and therefore rounds are slow. • The hotel has many Russian tourists which seems bizarre when they are at war. • Probably the main reason for not coming back to Belek is Antalya airport. It is so busy many people cannot get a seat and end up sitting on the floor while waiting for their flights. Every year the flights home to the UK are delayed. And for UK travellers there are THREE security checks. One as you enter the airport. Second after check-in The third and slowest is at the departure gate where about half the passengers are chosen and they have to empty their hand luggage to be searched then a body metal check and finally drug scanned. This can take 20 minutes per passenger which contributes to late take offs. Antalya airport really takes the shine off the holiday

This late winter golf break was eagerly awaited and fellow golfers all spoke highly of the hotel and golf courses but I was a little sceptical about the detail of how good it was. So, greeted late in the evening with a good meal, glass of wine and a warm welcome things started well. After a good breakfast and a prompt transfer to the golf complex I was so impressed about the facilities and attention to detail. Both old and new courses were in good condition and a joy to play, we played both courses twice. Food and drink was available not only in the club house but also on the course, quality and variety of which was superb. The hotel was great, the service, all inclusive drinks and food plus the rooms were spacious, clean and well appointed. Our group was so impressed with all aspects of the package that we booked for next year within days of returning home, looking forward to our return next March. Well done Gloria Verde keep up tge attention to detail.

That’s our 5th visit to Gloria Verde and again it will not be our last There are many very good reasons why we have revisited this resort time after time. The food quality in all areas is outstanding, and the choice is extensive. It is even better than more expensive resorts in the area. The buffet restaurant on an evening is absolutely amazing, so much choice on offer and it’s hard to resist trying many dishes, and then going back for some more because it’s just so good. The A la carte restaurants are free to use, one visit to each per week. Again the food and quality on offer at these is simply outstanding. Now add in excellent attentive staff that cannot do enough for you and offer fantastic service and you start to get a good picture as to why we have returned so many times. At lunchtime you have a choice of food cooked to order from the beach bar, or The Verde Pub, which is an outside area between the beach and hotel overlooking the swimming pools and beach beyond. This is our favourite for lunchtime with the food selected and cooked to order, the shrimps are amazing and chef Yousef used to cook us some special shrimp dishes each day. Beef fajitas is another favourite with the cut of meat being fillet that simply melts in your mouth The drinks selection at the bars is good with various branded drinks available. The pier is lovely to sunbathe and pick up a much needed breeze when it gets too hot. There is a bar on the pier, which has been a welcome addition a couple of years ago. Yensen is always smiling and very helpful making up any drinks you require there. I complained one day to her about the music and within 10 minutes the GM Yasin and Iset were standing next to me to see how they could make the music better and we were discussing various music playlists. Now that is brilliant customer service! The rooms are okay and will be renovated at some point as a programme is in place to renovate all 3 of the Gloria Hotels which is already well under way. The bathroom is quite small but overall the room and bathroom are adequate for your needs and after all you don’t spend too much time in them. The beds are very comfortable and a good night’s sleep is had each night. Again if you require anything such as extra hangers they are there within 10 minutes. The minibar in the room is all free and the bar man will put in anything you ask for. To be honest we hardly use this as we have so much around the resort The grounds are beautiful and well kept and I’ve taken a couple of videos walking back to the hotel from the beach with many of the trees in full bloom. They look stunning. Part of the resort is the Gloria Golf club, offering 45 holes with a shuttle taking less than 5 minutes from the hotel reception and running every 20 minutes. The courses are really really good and some more challenging than others. The greens were smooth and ran true.
