My partner and I stayed here for 4 nights for new years. We arrived, both tired, after a very early flight, to be told that our room would not be ready for at least another 2+ hours!! (never had this before on an abroad holiday). Tired, stuck with all our luggage, passports etc When we could eventually check in, we were told we had to pay a £200 Euro deposit (never had this as a couple before). Staff were rude, unhelpful and arrogant and just looked like they didn’t want to be there. One time, 2 of the female staff were just chatting and left us there waiting. A male worker came in from the bar area and told them to help us. Room was just OK. Clean, which was the main thing. The balcony was spacious but 18th floor meant we didn’t want to spend time out there. The hotel was very quiet, so not sure why we needed to be on the 18th floor! One evening, my partner and I lost each other and the hotel charged me £25 euro to access my room. No key lost mind, just to open the door for me. No maid / room clean during the 4 days and we had to ask for more toilet rolls. We also had to get up extra early on our last day, to allow staff time to check the room when we left. We weren’t leaving without our deposit back! Other guests said to make sure we emptied our hardly used kitchen bin or they would hold back deposit. I will not be staying here or their sister hotel again. Never stayed in a hotel like this before. I would rather pay a bit more money and at least be treated as a guest on holiday, rather than a burden!!
