Ferienparadies Alpengluhn

Incredible room. Host was very friendly, knowledgeable, and extremely accommodating. The views were fantastic. Close to town.

We have stayed at Ferienparadies Alpengluhn 3 times in the past 2 years, and we have loved every visit. Each of the 3 apartments we have stayed in have been slightly different, but all very well furnished, lots of kitchen equipment, comfortable sofas and beds. They also all have a balcony or patio with wonderful mountain views. We find it really useful to have the kitchen to make lunches for hiking even though we typically don't make evening meals in them (although you absolutely could). Location wise, it's slightly outside the town-centre but walkable in around 15 minutes. There is plenty of parking on-site, useful to get your equipment back to your room. Views from the apartments are fantastic - all apartments face the mountains. There is a pool and hot tub outside, which are heated all year round, and in the summer months the restaurant is outside with patio heaters and sunshades. Food is fantastic, and is consistently some of the best we have had in Germany. Each day a new 3-course meal is constructed, where you can choose between a few options, all of which have been delicious. We have also been there for BBQ and traditional German buffet nights, again delicious! You don't have to eat here, and you just tell them each day whether you are planning to be there on the evening, and there is no pressure either way. But, I recommend you at least try the food early in your trip - you might want to eat here often!! I have seen a few comments about breakfast. We have never had the breakfast here, preferring just to grab something light ourselves and prepare ourselves in our kitchen, and I have never felt pressure to do anything else but the option is there if you do want it provided (and surely that's the best of both worlds?). My final comments are in relation to Peter, the owner. Over our visits we have experienced absolutely first-class service from Peter, and the whole team. Peter is available to give you advice on hikes, restaurants (which they will happily book for you), travel directions and is so warm, welcoming and friendly. We often email Peter prior to our booking and he gets back so quickly with ideas and suggestions. As we are from the UK, we have been really affected by COVID travel restrictions and Peter is always willing to be flexible wherever possible. Peter (and Petra), thank you for your wonderful hospitality! If you want a great base for hiking, where you can relax on an evening with great food and drinks, but still have a little more space in your own apartment to relax too, then I can't recommend Ferienparadies Alpengluhn enough.

Ich habe Erfahrung mit mehr als 1000 Hotels. Was aber hier passiert ist, wenn ich eine Leistungsstörung moniere, Lärmbelastung durch nicht isolierte Verbindstüre, und der Betreiber dann mit einer beleidigenden Behauptung gegen mich wendet, das ist mir noch nie passiert. Ich habe aber einige andere Bewertung Beschwerden über dieses widerliche Benehmen dieses Herren gelesen, genau wie ich es erlitten habe.

Wunderschöne, fantasievolle Apartments , zu jeder Jahreszeit: Wohlfühlfaktor. Das Haus ist sehr familiär geführt, was man in keiner Weise in Anspruch nehmen muss. Dann entgeht einem allerdings feinste Gourmetsmenus aus der kleinen Familienküche und bombastische Frühstücke. Als wir dort waren, hatten die Eigentümer mit Wasserschaden und hohen Coronazahlen zu kämpfen... Das flexible und hinreißende Team hat unmerklich improvisiert: Man bekam das Menü mit FFP2 Maske (worauf ich, trotz des netten Kontakts, bestanden habe) in sein gemütliches Apartment serviert. Die Hausherren lassen sich so manches einfallen und es war immer sehr gelungen: BBQ unter Heizstrahlern am schönen Swimmingpool etc. Wir kommen ganz sicher, egal wie die Situation sich entwickelt, wieder: Wir sind sicher: Ihr lasst euch was einfallen :).

Schöne Unterkunft am Rande Berchtesgaden, in der Nähe vom Salzbergwerk. Es gibt einen beheizten Pool und ein Jacuzzi, das wir jeden Abend genutzt haben. Das Internet ist sehr schnell und für Videokonferenzen geeignet. Der Besitzer Peter hat ganz viele gute Tipps, was man in der Gegend und wann machen sollte. Man ist dort sehr gut aufgehoben. Ganz besonders hat uns beeindruckt, dass Peter sogar nachts bis 3 Uhr wach geblieben ist, weil wir einen Notfall hatten und er sicher gehen wollte, dass wir gut zurück kommen.

Zum zweiten Mal wurden wir nicht enttäuscht. Eine wirklich ganz besondere Unterkunft, die wir da gefunden haben. Als Gast kommen, als Freund wiederkommen. Das trifft es genau! Thanx! Immer wieder... . Tolle Appartments, nette Leute , tolle Abende, schöne Tage....Erholung pur!
