The hotel is well situated just inside ramparts. The staff were polite and efficient. The food in the restaurant was good. The breakfast was average. The room was clean. A word of warning though- avoid room 26, a junior suite. When we arrived the temperature in the room was 29 degrees. (The temperature outside was max 23 degrees). No air con, but there was a fan. We had the fan on and the window open throughout our two night stay. On the morning we left it had got down to 25 degrees. But the noise of the fan drove me mad. The room was long, with a window at one end which looked directly into another room, so for privacy, despite the heat, we had to shut the curtains at night. After the first night, when we discovered we were over the laundry, we asked to move. Unfortunately we were only offered a ground floor room which was not acceptable to me. We had paid extra to the tour company we booked with to upgrade to a junior suite, so it was very frustrating.

There are many pluses to this hotel…friendly staff, good breakfast buffet, nice swimming pool, attractive building and courtyards. But our room was tiny and very hot - temperature in the room 29 degC when external temps were around 20 degC. A fan had been provided (taking up limits floor space!) which made it possible to sleep at night.

Very cozy hotel in the centre of the Village with a beautiful courtyard. BUT beds are too small and short for normal adults. Sofa bed was even worth, so no sleep that night. There are no AC on the room and no fan to get a breeze. Breakfast was not ready at 08:00

This is a beautiful hotel - so lovely to arrive in the flower filled courtyard. The rooms are spacious and ours came with a little kitchen area which we didn't use, although the fridge was useful. It's a nice place to stay. The food in the restaurant in the evening was mediocre although the service was very friendly. Breakfast was good. The pool area is nice but the swimming pool was too warm when we were there - more like swimming in a bath!

Large-sized rooms with kitchenettes give you the option of shopping at the wonderful markets of Alsace and then preparing your own food. Rooms surround a lovely, leafy courtyard. Staff is very helpful, offering to carry baggage and do whatever they can to make your stay pleasant. Rooms seem to be furnished with everything you would need, including a fan for warm weather! (The majority of hotels just laugh at me when I ask if they have a fan for the room.) Bergheim is very quiet at night, so there is little-to-no disturbance from outside, even with the window open. Parking is close-by and free. Could there be improvements? Yes, of course. The bathroom in my room was very small and the shower-head was quite low. The courtyard seems to be used often for private functions, limiting guests' ability to sit there. But no place is "perfect," and I would happily stay again (and hope to) at La Cour du Bailli.

First class service from Reception, checking us in and personally showing us to our bicycle storage and our room. We had upgraded to a junior suite and this was well worth the extra cost. Had a lovely seating area within the room overlooking one of the courtyards. Comfy bed and well priced mini bar. Shame we forgot our swimming costumes because there's a small wellness centre on site too.

The place is amazing but I really didn't appreciate the lack of information about the half-pensioen, not mentioned via mail and not asked at the check-in. Unfortunately I've seen that after 19h when the reception was closed.

This hotel must be very popular before Covid-19. The place just very quiet and nice but offer a limited service for the guests. The reception only work from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. which not good enough for a big residence. The restaurant not provide the service if we not make a reservation so you need to eat somewhere else rather than in the hotel. The room was well furnished with full kitchenet. The bed was comfy with standard amenities in room. The breakfast was ok but should have more selection such as fried egg, fruits, nuts and dairy product. The most important this place far from the main town and very difficult to find a taxi or public transportation. We have to walk almost 3 km. to find a bicycle rental shop for explore the area.
