Capital Reef Experience
Room was big and comfortable
Bathroom very good

Large room. Sink in separate room from toilet & bath, nice for any food prep.
Tub wouldn't drain in room 104. Toilets very noisy & disturbing at night.

We did not stay there as our plans were changed.
And if they hadn’t, we would not have stayed because there were men hanging around and we were two elderly women and we didn’t feel safe.
The sign for motel was broken and place was not inviting.

Check in was very quick. Hotel was very quiet. Room was much cleaner than I expected. It was nice to be able to jump in the hot tub after a long day of hiking. Very pleased with my stay.

Everything was good, convenient, clean, comfortable, quiet BUT Wi-Fi was terrible . Kicked us offline a few seconds after connecting. Of course, no streaming

The room was filled with house flies when we arrived. I mean, there were a good 20-30 of them. I spent the first hour of my vacation swatting flies with bathroom towels. I couldn’t find a source of the flies. But they were everywhere.
Then I go into the bathroom. It had a rather sewer-smelling odor. I opened the bathroom window to try to air it out and I noticed in the backyard of the hotel are horses. So I figured that someone had opened the bathroom window to get rid of the sewer smell and left it open for days and let all of the flies in from the horses.
So I have a couple recommendations for the hotel. Ideally, you would want to fix the sewer smell in the bathroom. But at the very least, put a screen in the window so that when people open it up to get rid of the sewer smell, all of the flies from the horses that are right outside the window don’t come in.
The mattress was old and very soft. And my sheets were not particularly clean.
I would definitely not stay there again.

Very close to Capitol Reef National Park, good price, clean, comfortable, good bed, clean bathroom. Would stay here again.
