The hotel was just okay. I understand it’s a ****** and it’s Smokey but it brings the smoke to the rooms too. I hated the fact that we smelled **** all night from the hallways. Waking up with massive headaches was the worse

Ruth was not ready well after check-in time and even after they said it was ready and got my key when I went to my room cleaning service was still in my room, making me late for the event I had planned to attend that evening water pressure in the shower was very low and in the evenings no hot water in the shower

Our 1st room was nasty. So it took them 2 hours to change us to another room. When finally changed to another room the hot water was out. It took another hour and a half for maintenance to come.

our room was outdated and kind of dirty. The end tables had a layer of dust. The shower door needs to be adjusted because we could barely open it. And it was filthy dirty. The whole hotel had a weird urine smell. The ****** was nice, along with the dining, but I’ll probably opt to stay somewhere else next time I’m in town.

Issues with hot water and faucet working correctly in the shower. Was not resolved while we were there nor was our room changed due to the impact.

I have stayed here a few times. This was by far the worst room I have had here. Must have been one of the oldest rooms that hasn't been refurbished. The bathroom was the biggest issue. The shower / tub was an old jetted tub. You had to step up into the tub. The handle to assist getting into the shower was on the same side as faucets so you had to step up over them as well. The step down was hardest part because it was a bigger drop. The shower curtain had mold or mildew on the inside. A portion of the shower curtain was torn off. When you closed the shower curtain, the shower/tub was very dark and there were no lights. Couldn't read the shampoo/conditioner/shower gel containers without opening the curtain to allow in a little light. The faucets were on the outside of the shower curtains, so you had to open the shower curtains to adjust the water. The water pressure and water temperature oscillated strangely. The pressure would increase and then would get a lot weaker. Then the pressure would increase and start all over. That wouldn't have been a big deal but water temperature would oscillate the same way. As the pressure fell the water would get very hot and then as the pressure increased it would get very cold. It was impossible to control either. This happened about every 30 seconds. The room was fine other than the tub/shower. Clean, well stocked. The service was great. The Half Shell Oyster House was great. Live band was great.

I set this up for my daughter and her husband and they had a really hard time checking in. then when that was finally straightened out they were told they were going to have to pay with their credit card when it should have been paid by points. There was a lot of confusion from the front desk and they were given very conflicting information
