The Withnell Hotel

Made to feel very welcome by billy. Very clean and car parking available. Quiet b snd b 100 metres from south pier. Bar inside and amazing breakfast. Amazing value for money. Will definitely stay there again . Beds are comfy and slept very comfortably

We arrived at the hotel after 6 pm and there was no street parking left. I was aware that there was parking at the rear of the hotel. Luckily, there was 1 space left. My car was secure all weekend. We stayed in room number 9, which is a family room and it is located on the top floor. It has a double and a bunk bed. There are two shower rooms with toilets. The room was very warm. The heating was on till about 11 pm. I shared the double with my daughter. I didn't sleep well at all because I prefer a softer mattress, but my daughter loved the bed.. everybody has their own preferences. The entire hotel is tastefully decorated and clean. The breakfast was great. We enjoyed our stay. Thank you, Billy.

Visited for 3 nights with 9yr old and husband. Everything we wanted and more. Super clean, spacious rooms, plenty of storage, excellent breakfast, lovely owner, ability to come and go easily all whilst being in the perfect location just minutes from the pleasure beach (can see it from our window). We would 100% recommend to other families as a safe hotel that ticked all the boxes. We will definitely be back next year.

stayed here for 2 nights. lovely place, owner is friendly, can come and go as you please, rooms are nicely decorated, beds are comfy, great location. the room was decently sized with lots of storage, nice big tv, clean and adequate private bathroom.

I was here for 2 nights with my friend and her 18 month old, it was fabulous! So friendly and staff so helpful. I had a single room and they had a double room (as we booked). It was all clean and had just what you need. It is 30 seconds from the pleasure beach and in a great location. Breakfast was lovely, cereal, fruit, yoghurt and juice available. Tea and coffee is served with a hot breakfast and they come and take your order. Fully stocked bar with draught lager and cider, fab selection of bottles and all the sprits you can imagine. There is some parking available around the back. We couldn’t have asked for anything else in our booking. Will definitely be coming back.

Amazing little b+b, Billy is the most welcoming host and is always on hand to answer questions or serve a drink. Breakfast is plentiful with loads of choices and really sets you up for the day. The bar is very reasonable and has a pool table and a TV . The rooms are very very clean (I've stayed In 3 different ones) beds are comfy and the linen and towels are spotless, the showers are a good size, WiFi available. This is my second year staying at the withnell and I booked 2024 on check out, and will do exactly the same for 2025(sorry Billy you are stuck with us). I honestly can't recommend enough.

Fantastic place to stay.Originally recommended to us and now we won't stay anywhere else in Blackpool. Billy, the owner is so welcoming and friendly. The rooms are spotlessly clean and beautifully furnished. Beds are very comfortable, all white bedding which is spotless. Tea/coffee making facilities in all rooms which is topped up daily. En suite is beautiful and clean with fresh white towels. Breakfast between 9 & 10am where you have a choice of cereals, yogurt and fruit. Full English breakfast is fab but you can also chose a breakfast sandwich too. Fresh orange on every table and tea and coffee all you can drink. Lovely little well stocked bar with dart board and pool table. Drinks are very reasonably priced. Last orders at 11pm. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and cant wait to go back again. Thank you

Stayed here from the 31st of July to the 3rd of August with my boyfriend. From first impressions this hotel was amazing, extremely friendly and welcoming hosts who couldn't do enough for us, amazing hospitality. Amazing full English breakfast, served warm and really tasty. Comfy beds, cosy room (we had room 7, a double room on the top floor), WiFi was good. Really clean rooms, we genuinely loved every second of our stay here. Would 100% recommend this hotel and we will be returning :)

What can we say 🤷 place is fantastic as are the hosts we have had some corkers in Blackpool but this is a wee diamond and so close to the sandcastle and South pier just literally round the corner .the rooms are spotless although small the breakfast is delicious have already recommended the hotel to other family .Will certainly be back
