Hotel Stella Maris

It was a nice enough stay, the room was clean, the shower was really impressive - great water pressure and a good sized rainfall shower. The night porter was rude, unhelpful and was gatekeeping bottles of water. Just let the night porter give out water and charge it to the room, it's 2024, we don't need to argue about getting water in a hotel. The reception staff were nice and pleasant. For the price, you can't complain too much, was a nice short weekend away.

Good location. The hotel is located close to the sea, walk five minutes. It is next to the stop of the excursion steam locomotive which travels to the city center. The hotel has excellent wi-fi. Friendly and helpful staff. The girls at the reception are very professional and attentive. Excellent cooking meal. Breakfasts and dinners are excellent. Variety of dishes, beef, chicken, pork, fish. Fresh fruits and delicious pastries. The room is cleaned daily.

Decent, clean and well maintained hotel. Great location. Rooms in need of an update but otherwise all working fine. Food adequate for 3 stars standards. Hard working and friendly personnel in restaurant. Some rooms, 119 for example, are very badly located, facing opposite building and just above garbage bins. We complained and after 2 days we got a better room, otherwise our holidays would be ruined. At the time of our visit guests of the hotel were mainly school childreen and teenagers. When their supervisors let them loose, it became unpleasant: playing football at corridors at night, singing, loud speaking. The otherwise nice pool could be overcrowded instantly with children jumping, diving, splashing. Nice hotel if crowds of children doesn't bother you.

Just spent a lovely 5 nights here half board. Really nice clean room with a balcony, varied and filling breakfast and decent evening meals. Nice little bar, not expensive. Staff pleasant and helpful. Very close to the beach, and about a 15 minute walk into the centre of Blanes which is a nice little town with a castle up a hill (that's some walk!!). Definitely recommend.

El Hotel necesita una reforma urgente. Las instalaciones son bastante obsoletas: paredes de papel, ruidos de tuberías. Ruidos de otras habitaciones. Ruidos de la calle. El bufet es bastante justito. La calidad de la comida es regular Baja. El personal de recepción y de comedor Bastante amable, pero desde luego las instalaciones se han quedado más que obsoletas. No volvería desde luego en ningún caso.

A veces, nos pensamos que las estrellas son correlativas a la calidad, nos pensamos que un 4 o 5 estrellas es la panacea sobre un tres. Bien, en este caso, el que nos ocupa, un tres estrellas, es antiguo a rabiar, pero se podía comer sobre la bañera. Limpio a rabiar. Su bufett, escueto pero bueno, no hay que olvidar, que se trata de un Hotel pequeño. Piscina correcta y el servicio del bufett 15 sobre 10. Repetimos sin duda, teniendo en cuenta la cálidad/precio
