Our experience echoes other travellers' reviews - this is a superb B&B in a quiet location but with easy access to the town and lake. We received a warm welcome from Peter, who gave us plenty of tips on local walks and places of interest. Our room was spacious, smart and comfortable with the added bonus of tea making facilities and a balcony. We were very impressed with the variety and quality of the food available at breakfast. There's free parking right outside the guesthouse and plenty of restaurants just a short walk away. Highly recommended!

This is a great place to stay in Lake Bled. The faculty is modern, immaculate. It only takes 5-7 minutes to walk down to the lake. Service is excellent, they called a taxi for us as we arrived at the bus stop just before midnight. The breakfast has everything we wanted. For the price, it is an excellent value for money.

Very good rooms! Clean and super good breakfast Highly recommend it! I stayed for more then a week The owner was very helpful. The breakfast is nice. Free parking for the car. New towels even if you did not ask for it. Changed my bed sheets often. I’ll come back!

Lovely place to stay, owner extremely friendly and helpful. Hotel is in a lovely spot, countryside to the back, Lake to the front I really loved this place. Plenty of restaurants to eat around the lake, also the castle is a restaurant. There are bike shops to hire all sorts of bikes to ride around the lake, also the walk is at least just under 2 hours.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We booked for 2 nights before our tour of Slovenia and Croatia started. The location is very convenient. Our "family" room was particularly nice, with 2 bedrooms for us to spread out and have a work space. The room also had an outside entrance to a terrace. Peter could not have been nicer. This is a relatively new place with all modern conveniences, but built in a traditional style, which appealed to our taste.

We have just spent two lovely nights at Penzion Kaps that exceeded our expectations. Despite arriving much earlier than expected we received a very warm welcome from Peter who went to a lot of trouble to tell us about things to do in and around Bled. Our room was quiet, comfortable and had a lovely view of the surrounding gardens and hills from the balcony. Sitting there after a tiring train journey was a great way to prepare for touring the lake and hills. The choices at breakfast could not have been better, with every taste catered for. All in all, this was a perfect end to our stay in Slovenia. We would not hesitate to recommend stating here.

We were welcomed with open arms at Penzion Kaps. Peter was very good to walk us through the expectations of our stay and gladly recommended the most delicious restaurants to eat at and sites to see. The place was very clean and beds made up daily. We had a balcony which was lovely to sit on in the evening. We ate at the Old Cellar which was exquisite and the atmosphere was delightful! I highly recommend this wonderful bed and breakfast! Worth every penny! 💯
