We stayed at this hotel for three nights in mid May. We liked the location, facilities, food and service but our experience was dampened by the location of the room they gave us. Room no. 8 is dark in a upstairs corner facing a small inner courtyard between the main hotel and the spa building. The room is located above the kitchen and has an unusable balcony facing the buildings wall. As it was fairly warm (no air conditioning) we had to keep the window open especially during the night. In the evening the courtyard was used by the staff for their break time . They had a good time with animated conversation and laughter which we were forced to overhear. In the morning we heard early deliveries and conversations. On the night of our arrival we tried to talk to the front desk for a possible change of room but unfortunately the front desk staff went home after 5pm and nobody was there. When we checked out we commented on the location of room no. 8 but there was no apology or sympathy by the front desk lady. Would we stay there again ? Maybe, provided they give us a better room. The food (breakfast and dinner) was excellent, the waiting staff was friendly, maybe sometimes a little impatient , especially on the first afternoon/evening when we’re not familiar with the facilities.

A delightful hotel with excellent food & spa facilities. The staff were very attentive & on arrival we were shown round the site & everything was explained. There are numerous vegan options at breakfast & dinner & just a great selection of dishes. They also lay on an afternoon salad & cake buffet which was an added bonus. Bodenmais is about an easy 25 minute walk away & the chair lift & toboggan ride at the nearby Silberberg was really good fun. The hotel also provides complementary tickets for the train which is right opposite the hotel. The owner also introduced herself & on our last evening went around all the tables to check how all the guests were. Overall a lovely hotel & really enjoyable vacation. Particular thanks to our waiter Alexander who served us every day of our stay & was so polite & attentive. A real credit to the hotel.

Das Hotel Böhmhof ist ein sehr schönes familiengeführtes Hotel etwas außerhalb von Bodenmais gelegen. Zu Fuß benötigt man etwa 20 Minuten bis zum Ortskern von Bodenmais, man hat aber auch einen sehr komfortablen direkten Bahnanschluss mit der Waldbahn. Der Zug hält direkt vor dem Hotel und fährt ca. 3 Minuten bis nach Bodenmais. Frühstück und Abendessen im Haus lassen kaum einen Wunsch offen, die Speisenauswahl ist reichhaltig und stets frisch. Beim Abendessen wählt man innerhalb eines Menükonzeptes bei der Suppe und dem Hauptgericht, Vorspeise und Dessert sind vorbestimmt. Die Speisen werden sehr liebevoll angerichtet, die Portionen sind eher etwas kleiner....so bleibt aber noch ausreichend Platz für einen Salat und etwas Käse vom Buffet. Hungrig wird hier sicher Keiner aus dem Restaurant gehen müssen..... Der Wellnessbereich ist sehr schön angelegt, eine große Auswahl an Saunen und zwei Schwimmbäder laden zum Verweilen und Relaxen ein. Einzig das Zimmer hat uns nicht zu 100% überzeugt, was aber eher an einer ungewöhnlichen Raumaufteilung gelegen hat. Weder vom Sitzbereich, noch vom Bett, hatte man eine bequeme Sicht zum TV-Gerät....aber wer will schon fernsehen im Urlaub 😉

Sehr schönes und gepflegtes Hotel mit einem sehr schönen Wellness Bereich und sehr guter Anbindung and die Waldbahn (2min Fußweg zur Haltestelle). Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Unser Zimmer im Nebegbäude war groß, geräumig, hell und es waren kaum Abnutzungen zu sehen. Das Frühstücksbufett ist sensationell, reichhaltig und vielfältig. Das Kuchenbufett mit Mittagssnack ist abwechslungsreich und deutlich umfangreicher als wir das von anderen Hotels kennen. Das Abendessen ist gut, die Qualität etwas schwankend. Die Weinkarte bietet interessante und schöne Weine. Die Bar mit ihrem Angebot und der Gemütlichkeit hat uns ebenfalls gut gefallen. Ganz besonders hat uns gefallen, dass Hunde willkommen sind, es einen Nebenraum gibt wo der Hund die Besitzer zum Frühstück, Mittagssnack und Abendessen begleiten darf. Auch in die Bar darf der Hund seine Besitzer begleiten. Wir werden ganz bestimmt das Hotel wieder buchen wenn wir Urlaub im Bay. Wald planen.

Schön am Wald gelegenes Hotel etwas außerhalb vom Ortskern . Ideal zum entspannen . Die Dreiviertelpension hat uns schon vor 20 Jahren gut gefallen wenn man vom Wandern oder Skifahren einen Snack zu sich nehmen kann. Das abendliche Menü mit Auswahl der Hauptspeise war ne Wucht Auch das Frühstücksbufett ist für jeden Geschmack. Wellnessanlage bietet auch alles was man brauch

Zum wiederholten Male eine sehr schöne, entspannende Auszeit im Böhmhof verbracht. Die Mitarbeiterinnen und Mitarbeiter, aber auch die Inhaberinnen sind ausgesprochen freundlich und zuvorkommend. Frühstück und Abendessen lassen keine Wünsche offen, Wellnessbereich (und insbesondere die Sauna-Aufgüsse vom Christian) sind eine klare Empfehlung!

Wir waren Ende Januar 2024 das erste Mal in diesem Haus und können es mit ruhigem Gewissen weiterempfehlen. Es ist ein gewachsenes Familienunternehmen etwas außerhalb von Bodenmais und sehr ruhig gelegen. Der Wellnessbereich ist tiptop sauber und es ist an alles gedacht. Das Personal immer sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Küche bekommt von uns 10 Sterne. Alle Speisen sind schmackhaft und immer mit viel Phantasie und Liebe zum Detail angerichtet. Das Frühstücksbuffet verführt schon am Morgen mit Frontcooking und vielen weiteren Leckereien -für jeden Geschmack etwas dabei! Das Zimmer "Doppelzimmer-Suite Landhaus" war sehr geräumig und lichtdurchflutet. Es befand sich im Nebenhaus, welches mit dem Hauptgebäude verbunden ist.

Es ist ein wunderschönes Wellnesshotel das ich nun schon zum 5ten Mal besucht habe.Dort herrscht immer eine tolle ,fast familiäre A**osphäre.Die Zimmer sind sehr gut eingerichtet,an viele kleine Dinge wurde gedacht, um den Aufenthalt besonders gut in Erinnerung zu behalten.Beim letzten Aufenthalt verbrachten wir die schöne Zeit dort im Bauernhäusl,welches auch super ausgestattet ist und für 2 Paare gut geeignet ist.Das Schwimmbad wurde täglich von uns genutzt und auch verwöhnen ließen wir uns bei Massage und Fußpflege. Ich kann dieses Hotel immer wieder empfehlen!,,

Haus und Zimmer sehr freundlich und ordentlich, alles bestens gepflegt! Spa-Bereich hell, großzügig, sehr ansprechend, überaus sauber! Küche und Essen vorzüglich, abwechslungsreich mitunter regional, vorzüglich bereitet und das Auge isst mehr als zufrieden mit! Angestellte und Personal ohne Ausnahme immer freundlich, absolut aufmerksam und hilfsbereit, rundum rührig - strahlen positive Stimmung aus! Chefin Frau Geiger-Wastl immer vor Ort, hat für jeden Gast ein nettes Wort, arbeitet selber mit - ist umsichtiger Dreh- und Angelpunkt des Hauses! Sehr empfehlenswert, ruhige Lage inmitten der Natur und als i-Tüpfelchen hat man kostenlosen Zustieg zur Waldbahn.
