Vacancéole - Appart'Vacances Pyrénées 2000

The Appart Vacances is a modern, well-designed, apartment block in a convenient location offering good value in the Pyrenees 2000 part of Font Romeu. The building is attractive and modern, built with natural stone cladding. Each room has a balcony, well-equipped kitchenette, bathroom WC. Our room was a suite with a sofabed, separate double bedroom and bunkbed alcove. In the basement is a ski-hire centre and allocated private ski lockers with direct access to the street. It is very much self service - make your own beds (cotton bedding supplied) and clean at the end. Some basic supplies might have been useful. Arrival day was chaotic (busiest day of the year, I expect, but completely predictable so not sure why they needed to close reception for the afternoon!) but after that the staff team coped well and were helpful and friendly. The Apartment is 5-10 minutes' walk from the Pyrenees 2000 lift area - a bit of a struggle with kids. Font Romeu is a small resort. It claims to be the sunniest ski resort in France and we weren't disappointed. Limited snowfall is managed by laying down artificial snow over a period of months so that the pistes are always reliably skiable. There are nursery slopes at the base level, some easy greens, graduating upward gently through blues, reds and blacks. Something for everyone although by the end of 6 days we had done it all! Queues for lifts were generally very short and skiers were polite and considerate. Font Romeu town is beautiful old skiing village with a single cable car to the pistes. Pyrenees 2000 is better served by lifts but very limited in terms of a village centre and restaurants.

Yeah it’s near enough to the lifts as are many many places there. The staff are also very nice and as helpful as possible (when you actually see them) but basically unless you like cleaning and fussing over finickty details like dishwashers, bed making, vacuum cleaners and putting the rubbish out when you’re on holiday then why ever stay here. The detailed list of what you must do to have your deposit returned comes with a little box with some sponges etc just to show they mean it. If you happen to be less then 5ft tall then you might just get a decent nights rest after the slopes but we are both average height and our feet were hanging out of the ‘single’ beds which were also very narrow compared to a standard single. We laughed it off as was only a very short stay but will make a note note to bother again.

Nous sommes venu en couple pour une durée de 5 jours, c’était super nous reviendrons avec plaisir. La chambre était propre, l’espace pour deux était parfait. Une vue magnifique sur les montagnes. Merci pour l’accueil. À bientôt

logement tres sale a l arriver déçu et la réception decline la responsabilité ils nous disent oui bah c’est les gens de avant au prix du logement je trouve ça inadmissible micro onde de saleté inimaginable toile d araignée miette de pain et poussière dans le lit canapé sang sur l oreiller et odeur de tabac

Séjour en famille dans une station à taille humaine. Accueil assez distant, réserver un petit déjeuné (8€/personne) pour manger un yaourt et un bol de lait. La promesse d’un petit déjeuner européen n’est pas tenu !! Déception avant d’attaquer une journée de ski. Afin de pouvoir récupérer de ces journées sportives il vous sera proposé une literie qui est arrivée en même temps que la montagne.

emplacement parfait pour une famille avec enfants , vue montagne juste incoryable. Le personnel réception topissime et très sympas. J’ai passé une merveilleuse semaine établissement très propre et chambre refaite très confortable

Très bon séjour. L’appartement est bien aménagé et équipé. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié l’insonorisation : nous n’étions pas gêné par nos voisins ( la résidence était complète au moment de notre séjour ). Le local pour stocker les skis étaient très pratique et la salle de jeux appréciée par nos enfants. Il est également possible de louer les skis directement à la résidence. L’accès aux pistes peut se faire à pied en quelques minutes.

Tout était parfait, c’est notre deuxième séjour dans cette résidence, nous avons passé une semaine très agréable. Nous avons demandé un appartement ensoleillé nous en avons eu un ou le matin on prenait le petit déjeuner en terrasse au soleil. Le personnel est très à l’écoute et efficace. Nous espérons pouvoir y revenir l’année prochaine.
