We had a lovely 1 night stay at the farm and was very surprised when we arrived how stunning the place and surroundings are. There is no denying how remote the place is and did think on the way ‘where are we going?’ But in part that was because we missed a turning and ended up on very remote single track roads. We stayed in the corn store accommodation and it was very well catered for. The bed was very comfortable with lovely duvet and pillows. It is a little dusty in parts but you are staying in a converted barn with original brickwork and on a working farm so you should be accepting of that, but overall was very clean. The shop is well catered for your needs, the tea room is fab and we enjoyed a delicious bacon butty for breakfast. We loved the family dogs and especially Pumpkin. Overall though we have to say that Ginny and her team/family put in an incredible amount of hard work to run the place and nothing seemed that it would be too much trouble should you need anything. Keep doing what you’re doing! If you want to be in a remote, idyllic setting for just a little time out, or for walking, cycling, or just admire the beauty and animals, this place is definitely for you.
