Very good- clean spacious and comfortable room. Lovely helpful and friendly receptionists. Super-king bed, the bathroom had a bath and over bath shower which was the best hotel shower for quite a while! Plenty of parking and, although it’s right by the a busy dual carriageway, there are quiet rooms .

Arrived at 1.50pm to be told that check in time was 3pm but if we paid a £10 early check in fee we could have the room, really???? So the room was ready but because it wasn’t 3pm we couldn’t check in, didn’t do it on principle, if it was 12pm or 1pm I could possibly understand but if the room is ready then where is the issue?won’t do Premier Inn again I’m afraid

The hotel is a typical Premier Inn clean and comfortable the only issue I had with this one was after a day out I wanted to order my food at 8:50pm to be told service was finished. I asked for anything I could have that was simple to make or even a salad, it was still a no! I asked for a packet of crisps, they had run out of them. I settled for a coffee then an early bed as I didn't want to drink alcohol on an empty stomach.

It's my first ever time travelling solo somewhere and I would like to just give a massive shout out to Debbie who works on reception she went above and beyond for me while I was staying here, from recommending things around me to general help she has been amazing and I couldnt fault her one bit! I would also like to say thank you to the women working in the pub too as they made sure I was okay while eating alone too 😊

We stayed here for 2 nights prior to our cruise. Room 120, a double on the 1st floor. Clean, comfortable and quiet. Kettle, tea & coffee, additional supplies in Reception. Hair dryer. Good shower over the bath, shower gel and shampoo supplied. We had breakfast next door at the Beefeater, Continental was plentiful. Also had snacks there too. Friendly staff with lots of local knowledge. We walked to the train station that took us into the city. An easy 10 minute walk. Free parking. 116 rooms. Will use again. Recommended.

Hotel was what we expected but the breakfast experience was a joke. I pre-paid breakfast but in the morning we were made to feel like we had tried to scam them for a free breakfast as the lady who took our payment didn't register us on the system. I was totally embarrassed

Quick check in, room extra large with walk in shower. One night with evening meal and breakfast for two just over £100. Near the Hospital, 12am check out. Very friendly staff, nice adjacent pub/ restaurant with good disabled access. Disabled Vehicle parking next to reception. Better provision than expensive Hotels we have used.

Stayed over for the first time on a Friday night. Hotel spotlessly clean, and crisp white bedding. Tea and coffee facilities provided. Bathroom very clean and nice white towels provided. Large wall mounted TV. Free parking in large car park. If staying for Aintree races - short taxi ride or about 20 minutes stroll. 10 - 15 minutes stroll from Old Roan train station. Close to and handy for start of M57 and M 56 Junction. Breakfast buffet optional at adjoining Beefeater was excellent for £9.99 and £1 cheaper per person than if we had not booked breakfast when we booked room on line. Recommended if wanting to stay in the Bootle/Area.
