I let the front desk know at check in that there was a car in the lot with a smashed out window and glass all over the ground. I was told there were break ins 3 nights in a row. When I asked about security cameras or someone keeping an eye on the lot, I was told there is no security and "don't leave anything in your car." When I went to the wrong room by accident but my key card still opened the door and I walked in on another guest staying there, the front desk clerk told me it was impossible for that to happen and wasn't overly concerned. I should have checked out immediately. The carpet had not been vacuumed, there were rubber bands on the bathroom floor, the shower curtain rod was literally ready to come off the wall so when I took a shower, the curtain kept sliding to the middle and water pooled on the floor. Basically had to take a one hand shower and hold the curtain closed with the other. And as far as professionalism goes, wearing a baseball hat at the front desk as you check in guests seems out of place.
I won't be staying there again and I will not recommend ESA to anyone.
