The hotel is good, they are friendly, very clean, well located and it is recommended

This a hotel to spend the night and nothing else. It is in desperate need of a makeover as the rooms look quite old. The only good thing about it is that it’s located close to Hoover Dam.

The Wi-Fi was one bar at any time. The bathroom door could not be opened fully. This motel is very close to the bike trails, which is why we booked it. The check-in woman was very accommodating. The morning staff were not particularly friendly. The food selection was sparse, even at 7:00 a.m. The one dining room trash can was too small and full at 7 a.m. On the other hand, we had a beautiful view of Lake Mead with the end unit, top floor. As close as it was to the highway, it was quiet.

The two stars are for the staff… Both the people we encountered at the front desk as well as housekeeping were professional and friendly. Unfortunately they work for an owner and an organization that does not give them the tools they need for their job. The room was not clean… And I don’t mean the sheets, countertops or the basics that a housekeeper can do…but marred walls, dirty carpet, draperies broken and falling off the rack, scuffed paint, moldy showerhead clogged with minerals and a tub mat that desperately needs to be replaced. The sheets and towels were clean although there were only two towels in the room for a two guest, two night stay and they are extremely thin and old. To give you an idea of how much management cares for their facility, the signage throughout was broken, the landscaping rocks were extending onto the street sidewalks were not maintained making it dangerous to walk around the property, their breakfast area is being used for storage, and doorways, walls, and general areas were filthy. We had specifically asked about outdoor pool availability and I’m sure through no fault of staff, there was a problem with the pool. During check-in we were told that it would be open the following day… this we made the decision to stay. It was repaired and filled however in spite of assurances it would be available the day after check-in, staff would not allow us in the pool area and I was told that management would not allow me to even take a plastic chaise lounge and put it on the patio adjacent to the pool area outside the fence to enjoy the sun. This was not a theft risk or general liability issue…. it was simply doing as little as possible to accommodate a guest. This facility is still serving paper bag breakfasts and we were told that they would no longer be serving their hot breakfast as they are hoping to open the restaurant adjacent to the property. That would not be quite so laughable if the actual property had been maintained at all but clearly they can’t afford or unwilling to do the basics to keep up a building much less open something new. There are some darling motels in Boulder City and I highly encourage you to stay anywhere but here. I’ve just put in my second contact to corporate however I have not received a response from either management when we placed our first challenge nor the corporate office.

The water temp in the shower changes on its own (without touching the knob). Ranges from cold enough to make you shiver, to painfully hot. For multi-night stays, you have to leave the room fairly early if you want maid service. The toilet had rust stains and was a bit rickety, but worked well enough. Comfortable bed, large room, plenty of parking, quiet. Friendly staff.

After reading some of the reviews of this place I was hesitant but we stayed and it was excellent. The help was friendly and helpful. Check in was fast and efficient. Our room was spacious, immaculately clean, and very comfortable. The bed provided a very comfortable sleep. Due to the inability to hire enough help ( I asked) the breakfast is still not back to pre-Covid however the Jimmy Dean Breakfast Bowl was delicious and better than 90% of the hotel breakfasts I have had. It was also a huge breakfast. There were also other options. I think that some people have apparently decided to always find something to complain about. Maybe they are just unhappy with their life. We are glad that we decided to try this hotel.

Nice clean large room. Free breakfast which was pre packed as Covid restrictions are still in place. Comfortable bed. No frills. Perfect for a two night stay to visit Hoover Dam which is nearby. Refrigerator in room. Gas station and Terribles, a convenience store on same street.

Facilities is pretty basic. Good size room and clean beddings and bathroom. Check-in and out no issue. Still serving the Covid style breakfast. Pool is closed for maintenance. Location is close to Hoover Dam. Good if you just need an overnight stay.
