Altis Val Vert

Lovely hotel with amazing food and arranged to offer everything from sumptuous bedrooms in the main hotel to more budget friendly chalet style rooms suited to skiers in an annex. I booked with ski weekends and stayed in the latter. Annex chalet rooms were basic, but clean, warm, great shower pressure, very comfy beds and excellent Wi-Fi. These represented phenomenal value particularly with half board considering how expensive the 3 Valleys can be. The food was on another level, very high quality beautifully presented ,also a fantastic wine list and really comfortable & inviting bar area. Breakfast was also varied and very good. Staff really helpful and friendly. We arrived a bit early but were able to access our room immediately. The ski gondola was less than a five minute walk and takes 25 minutes to get straight into the heart of Meribel for, in my opinion, the best skiing area in Europe. Plenty of places to eat and drink in Brides, but to be honest the food and drink on offer at the Hotel Altis Vert would take some beating. Handy sauna and steam room useful after a days skiing too. The quality, value and welcome makes it a super option if you want to ski in the 3 Valleys without the overpriced cost of Meribel and Courchevel hotels and restaurants. The only complaint was the use of disposable single paper cups in the annex bathrooms that were never replaced, meaning there was no water glass/cup after the first night. I’m sure the hotel would have given you a proper glass if you asked, but I’d expect to see at least a plastic glass as a minimum. That said it was the only thing I could flaw and this is a beautiful hotel with amazing staff, great location and incredible food and I’m already planning my return for Winter 2025. Would definitely return.

We stayed in this hotel from the end of December 2023 to the beginning of January 2024. To say that we were very satisfied is an understatement. The hotel is small but very cozy and clean. There are homelike corners in the lobby and in the restaurant with sofas and armchairs where you can sit and rest. Rooms are spacious, with comfortable bed and daily high-quality cleaning. Our room had enough furniture and a spacious closet to accommodate all the things needed by two skiers (we took a room for two). The bathroom was clean, warm and comfortable with good hot water pressure. There are two free parking zones for visitors next to the hotel, near the main entrance and behind the restaurant. The hotel is located on the main street within walking distance from a supermarket, pharmacy and all necessary shops, as well as equipment rental, and next to the “Olymp” ski cabin lift, with about a 10-minute walk with ski equipment or a 5-minute walk lightly. The hotel has a separate building for skiing and other equipment, very comfortable and warm, boots and equipment were dried out by the morning. The restaurant deserves special compliments. A tasty and satisfying breakfast, sufficient for those who spend the whole day on the ski slopes. The dinners are simply magnificent, during the entire time we lived at the hotel, the menu of the day for dinner was never repeated, the dishes were always different, tasty and very beautifully served. On New Year's Eve, the gala dinner was simply gorgeous! Many thanks to the entire hotel team - all the employees are very friendly and are always happy to help with any issue. They helped us with settling even our personal problems that hotels usually are not obliged to solve. Separately, a huge thanks indeed for everything to Grégory!!! The total conclusion: we feel as if we were not in a hotel, but visiting close relatives. It’s highly likely to be our best ski vacation. We recommend this hotel to everyone! We will try very hard to come here again!

Cet hôtel est très confortable, très bonne table et prix corrects. Très proche du télécabine de l'Olympe. Nous avons été très bien accueillis, TOUT le personnel est EXTRÊMEMENT agréable. Si nous retournons à Brides, c'est dans cet hôtel que nous irons sans hésitations.

L’Altis est un endroit où on se sent bien. Jolie piscine, jolie terrasse pour les repas, chambres confortables. Le personnel qui est là de longue date est bienveillant, efficace, super sympa. On est loin d’un hôtel anonyme. Les repas de Jean Pascal et son équipe son également tres très bons. En résumé, un endroit où l’on vient et l’on revient et où on se sent accueillis et attendus.

Il s'agit probablement du meilleur hébergement sur les 3 vallées. Nous y avons passé presque trois semaines et nous en sommes revenus enchantés. L'hôtel est situé à 100m de la télécabine de l'olympe qui en 25 mn vous met au cœur du plus grand domaine skiable du monde. Les installations de l'hôtel sont très performantes avec un véritable local à skis et le chauffage des chaussures. Une grande terrasse agréable et un spa complet avec jacuzzi, sauna et hammam. Un des points forts c'est la restauration . Petit déjeuner de qualité et repas du soir digne d'un étoilé. Produits variés et de qualité, plats préparés avec recherche. En 3 semaines nous n'avons jamais eu le même plat. Enfin les chambres sont agréables bien équipées Nous avions une sdb en douche à l'italienne bien équipée. Propreté et ménage de la chambre opéré avec discrétion. Un personnel très sympathique que ce soit à la réception au restaurant ou pour le nettoyage des chambres. Précision nous étions logés à l'hôtel et il existe des chambres dans un chalet annexe. Un rapport qualité prix optimum. Dernière touche,le patron qui donne à l'ensemble une atmosphère de bonne humeur et d'insouciance. Une hôtellerie qui devrait servir d'exemple à toute la région.

Exceptionnel tout est parfait. 2eme séjour dans cet hôtel. Toute l’équipe est bienveillante et répond aux demandes un peu farfelues de certains clients avec le sourire et le petit plus. Les chefs JP et nolwen sont juste extraordinaire avec leurs recettes goûteuses et savoureuses. Que dire de plus. Belles chambres. Cadre magnifique piscine en plus. Salon détente. Le silence pour le repos. Un matelas adapté à mon dos et j’en remercie infiniment Martine et Gregory qui ont fait le nécessaire avant mon arrivée. Mille et un mercis à Sylvia. Marie Claude.
