Efi Spa Hotel Superior & Pivovar

Kryptonite within the EFI hotel bar is the lack of understanding of customer service, with excellent beer made by brewers in the backroom who care about their performance. Sadly the same cannot be said for most of the front-line staff with the senior barman ( unsure of his title) the worst offender cocky ' arrogant & unresponsive as a coat rack. Sadly this is my "local" as my only other option in geography is Mydlo a crazy bar which is great but I can't contend with the inside wood burner & open smoking in the bar, clothes stink for days after the shortest beer stops. I have been a patron of the EFI since it opened its 2nd location, esthetically is a great Gasto bar with a Comprehensive food menu (overpriced ) but high quality & delicious food. 2 years on and many, many bar staff later they have assembled possibly their worst team, all except what looks like a manager tall skinny bearded man who genuinely cares! But sadly like all bars in Brno bar managers rarely present an issue for a different day. Let's maintain my logic, epic beer with awful service. Worst of all the other staff seem to take their lead from this malcontent barman who is approaching my list of enemies. Examples While sitting at the bar, "barman"( this is a title this man does not deserve) openly engores my existence (waiting for a drink ) choosing instead to continue to talk to his friend also sitting at the bar. Then to continue to ignore me again and focus on the needless screen in the bar. Saving Grace is the younger staff who is switched on. Beer ***** Service ** ( only due to it being my local )

Checked in at 3pm very smooth & very helpful lady on reception … small spa 1 steam room 1 sauna and 1 jacuzzi… very clean well equipped towels , sheets , refreshments, lovely relaxing zone even a terrace on top … to cold for us it was snowing when we were there … room was very luxurious comfy bed , pillows just what we needed after the night train the night before … food in the restaurant was very good … big portions and breakfast was 2 hours of sheer indulgence… Prosecco , teas , coffee , eggs or pancakes made to order , pastries, make your own smoothie, meats , cheese, salmon , cakes, yoghurts , seeds … my favourite meal of the day and if I’d of got up earlier I would’ve eaten more so much choice … highly recommend this hotel … fantastic value for money and we walked into the main town easily

A fairly new hotel converted from apartments. Rmy room was large and well furnished. Staff were friendly. Menu was very Czech based but food was high quality. No English speaking tv channels if you want to switch off in the evening but it’s well located and is high quality compared to others in the city.

Delightful spa hotel, with a great restaurant! The 4th floor is a spa with Finnish, Parni and jacuzzi saunas, lounge areas, and a hyperbaric chamber if you really want to oxygenate! Located next to the largest park in town, easy tram stops in old Brno.

Excelente parada de 1 noche para aprovechar el spa y relajarse. Tranquilo y agradable. No hay mucha gente. En la zona hay algunos restaurantes pero el mismo bar del hotel vale la pena provar sus cervezas y picar comida local. Recomendable 100%
