SweetoxygenWe stayed at this property for a couple nights last month when we had our family emergency in Korea. The property is located in a central area by Yeonsan station - Line1. But it was a little difficult to find it by car/taxi. You should just look up for Hyatt place instead of HLB. The room was big enough for family of 4 - nice and clean and there's an upstairs without furniture or bed - literally nothing. We moved our sofa up there for kid's bed. There's also a laundry machine under the stove which takes forever to wash and dry (3-4 hours) and you need to keep the room key inserted while its run. Otherwise, the machine will stop working. It's got a great city view and stunning day and night. They had a little stove and fridge but no kitchen dishes/pots/utensils were available. Thankfully, there was a convenient store downstairs and lots of restaurants near by. The most disappointing part of this hotel was that they charge for using a swimming pool per person. It was not even cheap or amazing pool rather small. We didn't even bother almost spend $100 per day to use the pool. Forget it!
However, The staffs were nice and very helpful and tried to keep our suitcases when we had our early checkout.
Overall, I don't think we will go back to the hotel for that much money and with hidden cost.

The transportation is very convenient, only more than 200 meters away from the MRT station. If you rent a car, you also provide free parking service. The service attitude is good. You can store your luggage before and after check-in. The environment is clean and the overall is comfortable.

Anonymous UserThis is a very typical Japanese hotel – compact but fully equipped. Although the room is small, every inch of space is utilized to its fullest: the bed is comfortable, storage is well-organized, and the en-suite bathroom is clean and refreshing. Even the arrangement of toiletries reflects a unique Japanese sense of order. The cleanliness is impeccable; every nook and cranny is spotless, providing a sense of peace of mind from the moment you check in.
The location is also excellent. The subway station is just a short walk away, making it incredibly convenient to visit all major Tokyo attractions without needing a taxi. There are convenience stores, restaurants, and drugstores all around, so you'll never go hungry even if you return late at night.

Anonymous UserThis hotel is amazing. The harbor and city view was breathtaking. The room was really nice with a comfortable bed and nice bathroom with bathtub.
The staff were so friendly and welcoming. They kept my bags before having access to the room and after check out.
The location is nice. The nearest bus stop is 1 min away and underground station 8min away. The hotel is 2 stations away from Busan station.
However, I’d recommend not charging for a toothbrush and toothpaste. Maybe give it at check in for those who would need them.
I would definitely consider coming back to this hotel !

SweetoxygenWe stayed for 2 nights at this property with our family in August. This hotel located very close to the beach and it took us only a few mins of walk. The room was very spacious with two separate bedrooms, extra space for 4 big suitcases, little living room and kitchen was big enough but there were no utensils, cups or cooking pots. A couple convenient stores down the street saved us with breakfast. The room was not that clean but we got washer and dryer in the room which was super nice and convenient. The staffs were not that friendly at the front desk. It's a definitely budget-friendly hotel but I do not recommend for family.

Guest UserThe hotel is in an amazing area, even though the hotel entrance isn't on a very pretty street, the main road is just a few meters away. The only thing we didn't like is that the closet is tiny and only has two hangers. There's nowhere to put suitcases or clothes; you have to open and close your luggage on the floor to get things out. Even in the bathroom, there's no space for toiletries; it's barely big enough for toothbrushes, and there's no room for a toiletry bag. In that regard, it's very inconvenient.

Guest UserI recently had the opportunity to stay at Hotel Elephant in Busan, and overall, it was a memorable experience. Located conveniently within the city, the hotel serves as a great base for travelers looking to explore Busan’s vibrant neighborhoods, beaches, and culinary spots. From check-in to check-out, my stay was smooth, and I found the hotel to be a solid mix of comfort, cleanliness, and character.
Check-in & First Impressions:
Upon arrival, I was greeted by courteous front desk staff who spoke basic English and were very accommodating. The check-in process was fast and efficient, with minimal hassle. The lobby itself was tastefully decorated—nothing extravagant, but definitely welcoming. It had a quirky charm that felt a bit more boutique than your average budget hotel.
Room:
I stayed in a standard double room, which was surprisingly spacious. The decor was modern and minimalist, with a few unique touches that gave it personality. The bed was large and comfortable, with clean, crisp linens. I appreciated the small details like a well-lit vanity area, USB charging ports, and a mini-fridge. The room also had good soundproofing, which meant I could rest peacefully even though the hotel is near a busy area.
The bathroom was spotless, equipped with a full set of toiletries, and had a surprisingly luxurious rainfall shower. Water pressure was excellent, and hot water was consistent throughout my stay. Some rooms also offer jacuzzis or bathtubs, depending on the tier you book, which I thought was a great value.
Amenities & Services:
While Hotel Elephant isn’t a full-service luxury property, it offers everything you’d need for a comfortable stay. There’s a vending machine area, complimentary bottled water, and in-room amenities like a kettle, coffee, and tea. Wi-Fi was fast and reliable, even during peak hours. The hotel doesn’t have a restaurant or gym, but there are plenty of cafes and convenience stores nearby to make up for it.
Housekeeping was thorough and respectful. My room was cleaned daily, and towels and toiletries were replenished without needing to request anything.
Location:
This is arguably one of the hotel’s strongest points. It’s just a short walk from a nearby subway station, which made commuting to places like Haeundae Beach, Jagalchi Market, and Gwangalli very easy. There are also tons of restaurants, bars, and local shops within walking distance. Whether you’re into street food or want to try Busan’s famous seafood, you’ll find great options nearby. If you’re into nightlife, there’s also plenty happening in the area, but thankfully, the hotel itself remains peaceful at night.
Staff & Hospitality:
Every staff member I interacted with was polite and eager to help. While not everyone was fluent in English, they made an effort to assist with directions, transportation tips, and even helping me book a cab using local apps. Their hospitality made the stay feel much warmer and more personal than I expected.
Overall Impression:
Hotel Elephant may not be a five-star hotel, but it delivers more than what you’d expect from its price point. It’s clean, cozy, and well-located—perfect for solo travelers, couples, or even friends on a budget-friendly getaway. If you’re visiting Busan and want a reliable place to stay that offers good value without compromising on comfort, this hotel is a solid pick. I would definitely consider staying here again on my next visit to Busan.

Guest UserCheck-in is at 5 PM. If you want to check in earlier, you have to pay 10,000 won. I went at 3 PM but couldn't check in without paying the 10,000 won. Check-out is at 11 AM.
I tried to check out at the kiosk, but the machine was broken, so I had to go to an office in another building to check out. The service was 'um' (this 'um' is different from the previous one).
The window doesn't open.
