Hawthorn Farm Guest House

I booked this place for my parents. They really liked it. It was clean and tidy and in a nice area.

We really enjoyed our stay here, the hosts were very friendly and helpful, the room was cosy and comfortable and the breakfast was second to none! Altogether an excellent option if you are visiting Buxton, we would highly recommend it! Many thanks.

It’s rare I give a 5 out of 5 and if that was a rating for it I would give a 10 out of 10 Just waiting for us as we pulled up. Without request Friendly , informative and genuinely wanting us to enjoy the experience at the guest house and Buxton in general Room comfortable and quiet. Exceptionally clean Hot powerful shower Great location 10 minute walk into the centre Fantastic breakfast. Not only cooked and very tasty but choices of cereals, yoghurts and a fantastic large fruit dish along with lashings of toast and hot coffee. A definite must at great value over more expensively priced hotels if you are visiting Buxton

My niece and myself met up in Buxton to see other family, we had a splendid meal in town then went to our bed and breakfast. We were met by out host who showed us to a lovely twin room up twisting staircase and flagged floors. Our room was very clean with everything we might need to make us feel comfortable. Breakfast was a delicious meal of cereal and and fruit with the nicest fresh yoghurt, followed by full English breakfast and lots of coffee. Both my niece and I enjoyed our stay so much at Hawthorn Farm, I can strongly recommend a stay here to anyone.

This is not only a great location and a beautiful house. Paul and Sarah are great people, take time to help.you ej serve a wonderful breakfast. We highly recommend Hawthorn Guesthouse. If possible I would rate it with 6 stars on tripadvisor!

lovely, clean and well-equipped cottage. I would highly recommend anyone to stay here if visiting the peak district. It was a very central location with everything within walking distance from Buxton town centre, and the main hikes within a 30-minute drive.

Very welcoming hosts - Paul & Sarah - greeted us as we arrived in the guest parking area. Very comfortable room with modern ensuite bathroom, all exactly as described on the webpage. Very quiet area even though property situated on the A6. Delicious breakfasts with great conversations with Paul. Would recommend booking a stay here, and definitely book again if coming to visit Buxton.

Lovely little place. Very comfortable bed and the room was lovely and clean and very peaceful.paul and his wife was very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Fantastic breakfast and plentiful. Just a short walk into Buxton town centre.

Only stayed for 1 night but the room was well decorated nice and clean and the en suite was of the highest quality clean modern and smart, the bed was comfortable and the pillows best I've seen at a hotel . Paul and Sarah are fantastic hosts they are so friendly and can't do enough for you . The breakfast was amazing we don't eat pork so asked for the cooked breakfast with no meat was quite surprised when we actually got veggie sausages aswell the oat cakes are very tasty was nice to try something different. Could not recommend highly enough! One of the best places we've stayed.
