Globales Cala Bona

Relaxing restful break. We arrived the last week in October and had a lovely all inclusive break. The main positive was the staff, everyone was pleasant, helpful and went above and beyond. The hotel has 4 floors with 1 lift. We never had to wait for the lift as most people walked down and only took lift up. All rooms over look the pool. A big positive was the door key was attached to your wristband, so no losing it or it getting wiped by your phone. You are provided with a card to used in the electricity slot. We were on the first floor and had a suite with 2 rooms. Large rooms with the 2nd room not needed by us but was a handy space to keep our suitcases and leave items out , it has a second tv and would be a nice place to sit and chill if needed. The main bedroom attached to the balcony was very modern and stylish, large bed very comfortable. Fridge and safe , refreshment tray with kettle. Extra pillows and quilt in wardrobe. TV and aircon. Great lighting but as mentioned by many, no drawers. Hanging space and shelves in wall unit but replacing the stylish bedside tables with drawers would all that needed to be done. You need to have somewhere to keep your smalls. The bathroom was very large and had a powerful walk-in shower with toiletries provided. Good hairdryer. A small edge around the sink being the only place to put toiletries apart from the floor. A shelf is needed. The food and drink was all that was needed for all inclusive and had a wide selection at all meals to choose from. The chefs and waiters are always available and work very hard to meet everyones needs. There is an outside snack bar where snacks are cooked to order if needed. The hotel operates a token system for poolside drinks. You are given a token. Which is exchanged for a drink in a plastic glass, when you have finished you return your glass and retrieve a token. This works well, and keeps the poolside clean. We didn’t use the indoor pool or gym, good size outdoor pool, which we did use even though it was very cold so late in the season. Plenty of sunbeds and Balinese beds , we had no issues getting one at anytime during the day, May be different in full season. There was only entertainment , singers/band on for 3 nights and I understand they are aiming at a quieter clientele but maybe more would be better. The hotel is situated 2 minutes from the small beach and 5 minutes from the harbour. Easy access to the promenade, bars, shops, restaurants and easy walk to Cala Millor. There is a bus stop outside the hotel. This hotel was ideal for us, but it was the staff who made the difference from the moment we arrived to leaving and to mention anyone in particular would be leaving someone out. We would look at returning in the future

The good points of this hotel are the lovely receptionists very pleasant and very informative and the Spanish barman that is there of an evening.the Hotel is clean and tidy.but for me that's were the fun stops.the food is very basic not too much choice.infact as the little spanish twerp that calls himself the hotel manager says" you have a choice take it or leave it".you can't go around the pool before 9am.they won't open the doors before then and in some instances people were asking for the doors to open at 9.10.the bar opens at 10.30(we were told at reception when we checked in there was the main bar and a pool bar)we quickly found out they were the same bar only 1 which states it holds 50 people so you can imagine of an evening in a hotel with I think 86 rooms holding a minimum of 2 people what fun that is to get served with only 1 barman.everyone we spoke to in the hotel was of the same mind and we found ourselves spending more time out of the hotel than we did in it along with a lot more of the same minded people.we only booked this hotel because all the reviews were good so I'm not sure if mine will make it on.just trying to be honest and it is only my opinion so people aren't dissatisfied when they get here.

A lovely hotel in Cala Bona near to beach and amenities . Rooms well appointed and very clean . Buffet nicely laid out with good choice . The staff were excellent couldn’t have been more helpful especially Kasey on reception who went out of her way to help me plan a trip to Palma with my 87 year old mum .

This is our 2nd visit to this small hotel in the GLOBALES group. We like it. It has 86 rooms on 3 floors most face the pool. The suite has 2 rooms. You can use the 2nd TV room as a double bedroom if you want. Both the rooms have flat screen TV. A kettle and fridge. A safe is available to rent 30euros for 5 nights and 10 euro deposit for the key (I did feel this was a little pricey though). We were all inclusive and the food was very tasty. I am a vegetarian and the choice of vegetables,salads and cheese is very good. Lots of fruit and little cakes etc. my husband loved the breakfasts (traditional fry ups and cereal) with croissants fruit etc. however he likes English food and struggled a bit but this was no fault of the hotel as the food was delicious. They have a microwave if you felt the food needed to be a bit warmer. Wine and soft drinks all included on the AI rate. The staff are superb here so polite. The room can be cleaned everyday if you wish. The hotel had entertainment every other night at 9pm. It was a singer each time. They were very good. The area where they perform was quite small and the sofas in the bar area are extremely uncomfortable. That is a shame because mostly everything else here is really good. If you have an early pick up for the flight home they provide coffee and little plates of continental breakfast in the breakfast room. That is something a lot of all inclusive hotels don’t always do. We have booked to come again in October and hope to come in the summer so that shows how we like this hotel. The lift was broken when we arrived and my husband had to carry the cases up to the 3rd floor. However this was fixed later and these things happen in any hotel. We received loved bottle of bubbly to our room as a returning guest. That was much appreciated. The globales group are generally good hotels.

Me and my partner LOVE this hotel! It’s modern, clean, and just the right size. Never experienced it feeling too crowded, not finding a sun bed etc, lovely staff too. Cala bona is also a lovely area, with Cala millor in walking distance. It’s got everything you need for a Spanish get away in the sun. Food was all really nice, only minor thing would be having a little more variation with the food. Apart from that great, and great value drinks deals etc too. We are returning this June (2024) and can’t wait!

My what a terrible week of weather at the end of April. However, a week A/I at this establishment went all too quickly. The service from all members of staff was exceptional. Lorraine and Manolo in the restaurant and Christian in the bar went above and beyond. Food was very good for an A/I and there was always something good to eat. Room was spotless and kept that way with daily cleaning and fresh towels. Reception always greeted you with a smile. Possibly one of the best places I've stayed for service and a smile from the staff. A proper team effort.

Lovely clean hotel. Staff were great and went above and beyond to make sure everything was ok. (especially Christian on the bar, Lorraine and Palo in restaurant). Reception staff also very polite and again couldn't do enough for us. The Manager was always very cheerful and polite. The food in the restaurant was very nice and lots of choice. Would have liked a bit more meat chicken, beef though. My only fault was the sun loungers were very uncomfortable and needed cushions on them.

Could not fault anything. The room was really good - spacious, clean, room facilities good, daily cleaning and fresh towels. Food was fabulous every day. We had half board and food on offer was outstanding every meal. The staff were customer focused, friendly and professional. Will definitely stay again at a Globales hotel.

This hotel is beautiful..really enjoyed my stay here. The hotel is very close distance to the beach, and all the shops & restaurants. Stunning location and very relaxing vibes. The hotel itself is immaculate - so clean and well maintained. The staff were lovely. You wear a little wristband with a chip on it. This chip opens your door. Never have to worry about forgetting your room card. This was handy for me as a solo traveller as I was able to leave my key in the slot for Aircon while out & about. You can also put ££ on your chip & use it to pay for drinks. Overall I would love to come back. I gave 4 stars. Ideally I would have given it 4.5 stars as it really was close to perfect for me.
