Insotel Cala Mandia Resort

Just returned after a seven night stay at the resort! Rooms are really nice! Great daily room-clean if required.. High standards across the resort in terms of cleanliness. Everything well maintained and I’m rather eagle eyed but pleasantly surprised. Lots of options for kids, I did travel with my little boy but I didn’t see much info on the kids club so we didn’t use it. However, plenty of pools, an arcade (Really warm in there).. great to see the pools sectioned on the lower depths for the kids to be safe. Plenty of lifeguards around also! Only went in the evening entertainment once as couldn’t get a seat in the main area and outside was chilly. Sadly, didn’t get the best of the Spanish weather but a few nice days! Porto cristo is lovely, worth a visit and had a nice boat trip on the moonfish would recommend. The beach closest to the resort is well maintained and cleaned. (All public toilets out of service at present throughout the week on the beaches unsure why). The food from a British perspective the breakfast was the better end, the meat was cooked to perfection at dinner times. Just required a few different options to compliment the meat better. The 50s diner sadly for me wasn’t great. Although included, we didn’t even have dessert as just disappointed by the main itself. That’s an honest opinion from a man that would eat anything.. I’d advise potentially a customer survey for one week in there to gain some honest feedback on the food as I can see it’s mixed reviews. Reception was helpful and friendly, again nicely open and clean! Just a suggestion, unsure how the bus timetable frequency works or whether it changes consistently. If not, a schedule attached to the bus stop itself may help guests! Twice I was waiting for the bus and was asked if it went to so & so. May be worth a consideration. Other than that, I’d recommend to friends & family. It’s not out of the question for a return either .. Overall a great resort. Thankyou for having us!

We paid quite a lot of money for the swim up room but it was very disappointing. We contacted the hotel months before we travelled to request a cot in our room and we also called tui to confirm this the week before which upon arrival was not noted. After 5 hours and multiple trips to the front desk, no cot was provided. Eventually they provided a travel cot which was covered in mould. Our room was a swim up room which had water stains on the ceiling, smelt of damp. cracked tiles and generally looked worn and tired. Not what we were expecting for over £6k for three of us for a weeks holiday. The buffet was pretty much the same every night so we ended up eating out even though we were all inclusive. bar staff were pretty miserable but the chaps who showed you to your seat at meal times were excellent and always said hello to our toddler. All in all a pretty underwhelming week away.

This is an amazing hotel, if you are a family and thinking of booking....DO IT!! :) We have stayed at many family all inclusive resorts in Europe and we all said this has been our favourite for many reasons but the main one being that we have never been made to feel so welcome and cared for at a hotel before. The nicest and most hard working team of staff all play their part to make this hotel great, from the reception team to the catering, bar, and entertainment team, they are wonderful. JJ is an absolute angel and went over and above to make sure our special occasions were acknowledged and celebrated throughout the week. My son Oscar loved the footy academy with Philipo too. Our youngest is only 2 and we felt this hotel was very toddler friendly and well thought out! We will deffo be returning in the future! Thanks. Leah xxx

Its a great hotel for family’s with small children but not much happening in the evening for the older people staying here. The food was good, above expectations maybe a little bland but still good! BUT it was a really load volume when u eat, they had a small area for adults only but when your a family of five that area were way to small. Great view from the hotel room. The pools where hot enough to bathe in even in may. I would recommend this hotel for people with family’s but not for people that are older and want to do something outside the hotel!

We went here on holiday for our dads 60th birthday and the service have been perfect, would definitely recommend this place. Rooms, food and facilities was absolutely perfect. Perfect for a family holiday. Staff was helpful with everything.

We just got back from a lovely week at this Hotel. Lovely hotel and amazing weather! We’ve had an amazing time. We stayed in room 1026 and was easy access to everything, the staff are all so welcoming and lovely, The rooms are modern and clean. This hotel has so much to offer for children, our children are 2 and 7 and they enjoyed every day here, the pool choices and splash park is fab, the beach is lovely and quiet and under 5 minutes walk, it’s a white sandy beach absolutely beautiful. The food is lovely, on our last night we ate at South restaurant food was absolutely delicious. JJ the guest relations manager was so lovely and resolved a little issue we had and made it right for us straight away, and was extremely accommodating and caring. I cannot fault this hotel. It’s a big hotel, loads of pools and sun beds too. Entertainment team are good too. Cristo Porto has a beautiful marina and the taxi is only 8 Euros. There is shops outside the hotel with everything you need. We will definitely visit again. Thank you everyone at Insotel for a lovely stay 💕

The staff r very friendly and help especially jj can't do enough for you and Marga in reception also very helpful and make u feel so welcome. The food is excellent also staff very friendly, entertainment very good. This place feels like another home and my boys can't wait to come again as we made some very special friends for life.

Amazing hotel, friendliest staff, especially JJ, Marga, Angie and Matilda. But all the staff are very friendly and caring. It's catered for families and people with disabilities. I love this hotel. I think the entertainment is brilliant, all the team work really hard day and night. The food is tasty and I love the 50s diner. All the staff in the restaurant and very helpful and smile a lot. But most of all I made some best friends for life, JJ, Marga, Angie and Matilda. JJ has been very kind to us and nothing is a problem for him. He always goes out of his way to speak to me and my family and all other guests. Every hotel needs a JJ. Marga gave us a beautiful room and a quick check in. She is super kind and the best person to speak to on reception, but all the reception team are lovely, I just don't know them as well as Marga. Angie is in the bar she makes the best drinks, she makes you feel welcome. We like her a lot. Matilda is super fit and very Smiley, she is always kind and chatty, gets us all involved with the fitness activities. We absolutely love everyone here and we will continue to return every year for our family holiday. Its like home from home. We have made friends for life here which we shall treat like our family. Please don't hesitate with booking this hotel. It's will not disappoint. Bailey. C
