Bluesea Cala Millor

Amazing place if you’re coming only to chill, but as a solo traveler it wasn’t the best choice as there isn’t that much to do around the hotel. The hotel itself is amazing tho! Amazing food and service. (Mostly elderly btw if you’re young this isn’t the place to be)

We have just returned from this hotel. We booked with On The Beach. We arrived at the hotel after travelling from the airport for just under 2 hours. We could hear the music from the street as we approached the hotel. The reception was bright and airy. We were checked in quickly, paid our tourist tax, had our passports scanned and given the cards for our room. We were directed to block 2 which is across the road. When we arrived at our room we were disappointed to see the room was not as the photos show on the brochure we used to book with (see photos) The room was clean but it was very tired, very basic, the wardrobe smelt fousty (we kept it open all week), the bathroom is in need of maintenance (it’s an over the bath shower) the glass door is secured to the side of the bath so if you have mobility issues you might struggle to climb in. The bottom of the bath is very stained from what can only be described as dirty feet marks. (See photos). The balcony was a stone wall in front of you, not glass as advertised which was very tired with 2 chairs and a table that has been well used. The wall was used as an ashtray by the previous guests. (See photos). We went back to reception and asked for this to be addressed, this didn’t happen. The restaurant is spacious enough, the staff were very attentive and the chefs could be seen checking regularly. The food was basic, buffet food, if you want a full dinner not buffet you’ll be better off going out. Food overall not great but manageable if you like buffet. The all inclusive food operates during set times, food or snacks aren’t available all day, the bar is available until 11pm all inclusive. The location is great. You can see the beach and blue water from the hotel. It’s a very short walk (2 mins) to the vast selection of shops/bars/restaurants and beach. Overall this hotel needs maintenance and sorting out, very poor in block 2. If you are happy with stag/hen style parties, budget, basic and bland this is for you. In my opinion give it a wide berth!!

Can't fault the place,room is o good size,bathroom a little small but otherwise good and clean,great shower,food is tasty,a little limited selection but good none the less,staff friendly,poolside clean and litter free,pay 1 euro for your tumbler which I thought is a great idea as no glasses left lying around and you get refunded when hand glass back,can't understand the negative comments from what I saw,you but 3 star expect 3 star and not the ritz,tour holiday is what you make it,if returning to the area wouldn't hesitate to stay again

this hotel isn't all inclusive. we paid all inclusive and it was literally breakfast dinner and tea. paid i euro for a cup which was fine but alcohol drinks were to be paid for. this was my 1st ever time abroad and was not best pleased. we had a room which faced a yard. the room was lovely and clean, granted but we felt like we were shoved in the back.

The hotel is in a great location, with lots of shops and restaurants about a 2 minute walk away. All the restaurants nearby are very good, and there are so many to choose from. The beach is also extremely close and is super sandy with beautiful crystal clear water. Overall a great location with lots to do and a nice buzzing a**osphere. The hotel itself was fairly clean, the staff were very friendly and happy to help. We only had bed and breakfast, which had a good selection of food. The only negatives I would say are that they could do with another hot drinks machine, as there was always a queue , and the tables in the dining area could have been cleaner. Also, there could have been more tables because sometimes it was a struggle to find one that was free! The pool area was good, although, we preferred the beach, so we didn't spend any time there. One thing to be cautious of, which could have ruined our stay at Blue sea , is the room you are allocated! The pictures online that are shown are clearly their best rooms, and as described they were refurbished in 2015. We originally got put in block 4 which was beside the pool and it was awful. There are no pictures of this room online anywhere , it was dark, dingy , the corridors were even dirty with food still outside of the rooms and not cleared up. The room itself was tiny, from the door to the balcony door you could probably only walk 5 steps! It is definitely a room more suited to one person and also, there was a door connecting our room to next door's room which just made us feel uncomfortable. We asked to change rooms and luckily the staff were helpful and accommodating, they moved us to block 3, which was massively different and made us enjoy our time at blue sea. The room was more spacious, modern, clean, and bright, and it just shocked me how they have such different rooms and you never know which one you are going to get put in... The Maid's were good; they gave us clean towels every day. Overall , we had a good time, this hotel is ideal for a short break away, just got to be lucky with the room!

Hotel Excellent Value for the money, Location Excellent, Staff Excellent. My partner and i came for a week and could not find one thing to complain of. Location short walk to shops restaurants and bars. I have mobility problems requested a room near to a lift all arranged before I arrived. Staff amazing nothing to much trouble. Shout out to Magdelaine in restaurant who's bright smile whatever shift she was working was a joy. The lads at the bar pleasant and helpful. Overall a great week would definitely go back

The hotel is located in a great location. Walking distance to the beach, restaurants and shopping area and activities. The hotel and rooms are nice and clean. The staff are helpful and friendly. The only thing I can say is they need a bit more options when it comes to meal times. But overall we had a great stay.

Arrived 14:35 after an 11 hr journey to be told lunch finished at 14:30, as we were AI I asked about snacks at bar, only fruit!! No chips burgers, sandwiches ice cream, had to go out and pay for lunch as dinner wasn’t served until 19:30. They put out croissants on bar everyday (that’s the snacks) pool was small & cold. Didn’t see an entertainment rep which others have spoken about, wasn’t any entertainment in the four nights we were there. Food was cold but quite a selection, with breakfast being best. Good location, close to beach which is good as you couldn’t get a bed round small cold pool as towels on beds from early. On day of departure had to check out at 11 as wasn’t picked up until 17:00 was told there were lockers opposite which charged us 2 euro non refundable, went to get something from case cost another 2 euro. Had a complimentary shower which was good but very dirty after several guests had used it. Did not find the staff friendly and the rooms were very tired looking. Wouldn’t return to this hotel AI isn’t worth paying for. Cala Millor was lovely though, beach great.

This is my 3rd time at this hotel, it's situated in a fantastic position, with shops, restaurants and so many things to do near by. The entertainment coordinator Elena is amazing and provides good entertainment, which is mainly in the blue side bar. Great place for solo travelers as everyone is so friendly and it won't take you long to find friends 🙂 Food is average, breakfast good but for the price it's what I'd expect, main comments are mainly the evening meals, maybe need to make a few changes as it's primarily English holiday makers. Back again in July 🙂
