Estrela Do Mar Beach Resort - A Beach Property

Unfortunately disappointing experience. The hotel is quite expensive, but imho it shouldn’t be such expensive. On the territory of the hotel is the renovation of some houses. The cottage house looks tired, the water was licking from the bathroom to the bed, the furniture is old. The swimming pool is ok. The breakfast is good, unfortunately they don’t have coffee machine. The service is good. The wifi is not working in the room.

Cottage are too good. Walk-in distance from the beach and even reasonable price for food and alcohol. Proper cleaning and beach night life, closely connect with baga beach is commendable. Scooter option just outside the hotel.

It is one of the best resort in North Goa. Very close to calangute beach. We can cover both calangute and baga beach from here. All amenities were good here. Food was good, but they can improve the complimentary breakfast quality. Overall enjoyed here a lot.

The property is decent. Walking distance from the beach and the way to the beach is beautiful and there is a small kids area outside the resort with swings for the kids. 1. The resort is very crowded and at times there is just no space for anything. 2. If you have a room near the pool then your vacation is ruined. There is so much of noise, cigarette smell etc. there is no fence around the pool so if you have kid you can’t afford to leave them although there is always a guard. 3. The food is ok nothing too good or bad. 4. Be careful of your valuables. It happened with us twice that our rooms lock was open. We had not left anything valuable in the room but still. 5. If you are expecting a very good hospitality then forget it just a few people who actually were warm and welcoming. 6. We tried to change and upgrade our room but the receptionist had NO CLUE if his room would be full or not. 7. Would I want to spend my vacation there again ? No. Would it be recommending it? NO

Our 3 day stay at the beach property was wonderful. Very helpful staff, upgraded our rooms but very difficult to call to the resort. Breakfast was awesome with lots of options, live music everyday was icing on the top. The poolside rooms were very noisy. Walkable distance of the private beach. Enjoyed early in the morning till late night there. The bathroom should have a glass partition, it was wet all the time. It was a very comfortable stay, The market was very near, highly recommended 👍

CAUTION: Please do not fall for the rosy images posted at the Resort website. Type of Room Booked: Standard Per night charge: Rs. 5646/- (An they had mention this was 30% discount. Absolutely NOT WORTH IT!! A TOTAL RIP-OFF!!) 1) The misery begins with the delayed check-in. Completely un-organized. The booking was done a month in advance and yet there was an our and half delay in check-in. I was given a 15 min free foot message as co****sation which brings me to the next misery. 2) The message area is un-maintained and un-clean. How can you relax when there is dirt and stained cushions at the place that you are going for a message? 2) The entire resort it too much cluttered with all the rooms close by. There is no breathing space inside. It's like the ***agement just wanted to build as ***y rooms as possible and earn more money. No respect for privacy at all. 3) The room given to me was right in front of swimming pool. As soon as you step out there is water and completely wet floor. When you go in, the room entrance is covered with mud stains from your feet or footwear. 4) The room was like a prison with four walls and no windows. The only opening was the entrance to the room which was also weird. It was transparent glass doors and as soon as you are inside, you have to put the curtains. There is no sunlight coming in. No air coming in. It's like a dungeon where you rot until eternity. 5) The room entrance is a "slap on the cheek" to the architect who designed it. Completely transparent glass entrance - No respect for privacy. You have to close the curtains once inside. When you are out of the room and lock the entrance you cannot close the curtains and your room is completely visible to the outside world. (You can check the pictures). 6) There is no privacy. You cannot keep the door or the curtain open as the swimming pool is right in front of the door. If you keep the curtain open or the door open, the people in the pool may think you are creep trying to peep on them AND even you are concerned about your privacy if someone from outside is trying to peep inside. The curtain is dirty and stinky with stains. You will think 10 times before touching the curtain. 7) The floor is completely dirty as it is very old. The tiles have turned yellowish. The furnitures are old and stinky. The mini fridge is again old and stinky and for namesake. The blue pillows on the bed that you see on the bed in the photos are very old and you may not want to sleep on them. 8) The AC is old and un-maintained with an OLD AC stink coming out of it when you switch it on. 9) The toilet is an architectural marvel (again a "slap on the cheek" to the architect) with a pillar right at its center. If you want to access the wash basin you should go around the pillar. And you should be carefull as there is a glass partition. With so much less space they have put a glass partition so that the guest may acccidentally break it! 10) There is

I had stayed in this hotel's standard room with my family, I am totally disappointed with room size bathroom (shower was broken) so ***y stains on bathroom floor and mirror , teen shade rooms , so terrible stay of my life. Only swimming pool service is good. Picture added Do not stay here
