HSM Canarios Park

Just returned from HSM Canarias park and we had the most amazing holiday. I travelled here with my 3 year old twins and mother in law. We arrived late at night but just in time to get water from the bar bit there were also vending machines in every floor. The reception staff were very helpful and we have a really spacious, clean room on the ground floor with twin beds and a bunk bed which was perfect for us. Our room over looked the entertainment area which we didn’t mind as we spent every night there. The children loved the mini disco and the shows. We used all four pools and they were always spotlessly clean with plenty of sun beds. The food was plentiful, fresh, hot and lots of choice. I honestly don’t know how people can say any thing different. It didn’t bother us using the re-usable cups and there was as always plenty of choice of drinks from soft drinks to slush puppies to chocolate milkshakes to beer, wine and spirits. My only complaint would be the tip bar doesn’t open u til 11am so you just have to take a drink with you u til then. It would be nice even if we could access water before this time as it was a trek to take the children to the restaurants just to have a drink. We booked a boat trip through the hotel and really enjoyed it. I would recommend pre-booking taxis as the shuttle bus could get very full quickly in the mornings and it’s a good 20 mins walk back which is far in the heat and with children. We can’t wait to book again next year.

I never write reviews but I’ve Just got back from a weeks stay here and feel like people should know the truth! The food is bland and repetitive, I think only one of your staff members smiled back at me the whole time I went to the bar for drinks. Ordered taxi’s that never turned up even tho we were waiting 45mins for one to town, the reception staff just kept telling me it was on the way so we ended up walking in the end with a 4 year old in tow (wasn’t ideal) The beds are uncomfortable and the stairs carpet is disgusting! We went all inclusive but had to eat out most days because the food was so bad, the restaurant is like a free for all too, grown adults knocking children over trying to push in for food. The kids enjoyed the pools and the entertainment on a night though on the plus side. The jet2 transfer was over an hour late also. You definitely get what you pay for here. Sorry to say we won’t be back. Really disappointing holiday. Thank god the weather was nice!

It was just about ok !! You get exactly what you pay for, Very busy with families, the kids have a fantastic time , plenty of activities, excellent pools , all inclusive drinks are great . No problem at all with the plastic cup you get on arrival, always clean before being refilled. Food plentiful, rather repetitive but again it was ok . Bed rooms basic , but cleaned daily the public rooms always clean too . Staff work so so well .

There is a stomach bug here and that’s a fact. My daughter caught it on day 3 vomiting for 10 hours stuck in bed all day it was horrendous. I felt awful for her and then the remainder of the time worried I was going to get it. I had spoken to 6 people who also had wither them selves or their children have it and looked on reviews here and it’s been going on for weeks. The rep on the resort is saying it’s being spread through the pool water The HSM Facebook group is inundated with comments regarding it that are immediately being deleted. People need to stop saying I never saw anything of the bug and just write there own experiences, just because you never saw it, yet clearly dozens of families are experiencing it doesn’t make you right it makes you lucky! The lady below on trip advisor has astounded me saying she didn’t hear of anyone having a bug as she offered me dioralyte and I was talking to her about my daughter being sick!on arrival the kids pool was brown and all chairs and loungers covered in dirt from the rain before and it wasn’t cleaned all day it stayed brown and the chairs stayed dirty so no wonder people are sick I saw the hotel comment saying it’s something all the hotels locally were experiencing, well in my hours of being stuck in my room I looked on all the trip advisor comments on the local hotels and guess what? No sickness comments. Yet over the last 5 years every year this hotel has comments about it every year! I’m surprised public health isn’t investigating this Besides that the positives are the staff are really friendly, reception, Reps and cleaner. The food isn’t great, very salty, weird variety and just same thing every day. I don’t expect much for a 3 star but it actually turned my stomach towards need of holiday thinking about eating it You have to use the same cup for all drinks for a week which is the most bizarre and frustrating thing when you leave your cup in your room No tea and coffee facilities in the room and kitchen doesn’t open until 8 There isn’t any shops locally it’s a 20 minute walk which yea no issues for some but if you have a round child like myself or are physically not able it’s a challenge especially in the heat. Taxis from the hotel no issue but coming back was awful, I waited an hour for one very late at night and you kind of got hope it comes. There is a shop in the hotel and the lady is wonderful but very expensive (5 euros for a bag of crisps!) Entertainment is kids disco which is same every night for 30 mins and bingo every night, then a show at 10 which is really late in my opinion, they’d be better of scrapping the bingo and having some music or something There was no clear instructions on what to do with anything either, no idea how to ring reception from the room, no idea about excursions as no one was ever at the desks, no one told me about the local town I just happened to stumble across it when I went for a walk (the local town is great lots to do for everyone, supermarkets w

So… I have been to Majorca previously at HSM Club Torre Blanc which is a sister hotel of Canarios Park and booked specifically as I knew the standards were good. On the whole, although not a bad holiday, I wish I had gone back to Torre Blanca in Sa Coma. Firstly, it was actually a larger hotel than I thought and I am never a fan of large hotels, although it wasn’t huge just bigger than I thought but that isn’t a bad thing. There were 4 pools all suited in their own way. Splash pool and the pool next to it with bar and sport complex was amazing and so, so safe for younger children. There is also a cooler shader small children’s pool that is perfect if you need to keep little ones cooler and a bit more secluded and quiet. Other main pool is great but deep and my older lot loved that, although was scary that the main entertainment complex was next to this pool and evening bar and I was always worked about children falling in walking in between (but I suppose if you are a good parent and supervise it isn’t a problem!) On check in we were supposed to have 3 rooms together as a party of 12 with 4 adults and 8 kids aged 14, 12, 10, 10, 8 , 7, 4 and 9 months but they split us over THREE FLOORS! Not only that two out of three rooms were not balcony rooms which I had booked. They blamed this on my travel agent not informing them of the bookings and different names etc… I disbelieve but not one to moan and we made do. Family rooms were nice and big and spotless, but beds a little hard and my air con didn’t work and good luck getting good water pressure for a nice shower, but hey, we made do not wanting to complain. The WHOLE place is IMMACULATE and spotlessly clean but despite this two kids in the party became ill with the sickness bug others have said despite careful eating and bottled water only… a staff member confessing the Mr Whippy had been closed that day due to testing unsafe and 25 kids being ill… The bar staff and entertainment team, cleaning team were so lovely and couldn’t help more or make you feel looked after on a personal level but the reception staff could do with some training from them! Reception were not helpful the room situation and I had to fight for replacement bedding when the kids were ill in middle of night. Food is fine, but yes. Repetitive after a few days but expected from a 3 star but just say… their sister hotel Club Torre Blanca had better food. Overall, I wouldn’t go back due to some minor annoyances that I think need to be addressed by management, but the staff were great. Beach Cala Antena is great for kids albeit a pain to get to if you have younger kids but when there is so safe and snorkelling great there. Only a ten minute walk but awkward with buggies. They do need an ATM on site too as was annoying as town is 25 min walk, although a taxi is only 5 euros. Personally, go to Torre Blanca instead!

Great little hotel come with partner and 2 children 4 and 3 I would say perfect for Thier age kids pool is everything you want we been here a week and we haven't been ill at all. Food is standard tbh I woudnt rate it but you can eat. Beach is to die for Kids club is great if under 10. Hotel room we had was much bigger compared to most and huge balcony couldn't fault it cleaned everyday The staff entertainment make the holiday dani is fantastic my little ones loved his baby shark dancing he's a credit to the hotel . The town is okay 5 euros in taxi very small and the fair doesn't open until 17.00 and lots of places are closed down. Great hotel for younger children I wouldn't come if didn't have children.

Really good place , amazed at the cheap price. Everything you would want for a family holiday ( if kids under 11 I'd say) food repetitive but so is every all inclusive place ,, pools are great. Staff are great and the entertainment staff really go above and beyond to make the kids happy. The samba dance night the hsm staff do themselves was absolutely fantastic. Loved every minute of it. Brilliant

We spent a week here, two adults and a 2 year old. The staff were very welcoming and friendly and gave lots of information. The rooms were clean but beds were very hard and uncomfortable. The pools were clean, the kids pool is very good for younger ones as it is only waist deep on our toddler. The food was absolutely shocking, no variety, if you don’t like fish you lived off pasta and bread the whole time. While we were there we heard of multiple people getting poorly with sickness and dodgy tummies assuming from the food. I also had a dodgy tummy after a few days and our daughter was also sick on the last day of our holiday. We will definitely not be returning to this hotel!

Went with my friend for a unplanned week away, we are so pleased that we chose this hotel the staff and food and room was all excellent, it is in a very good position and free mini bus to local cala beach ⛱ if you have children plenty for them to do ,reception staff do helpful and friendly, and rooms cleaned very well ,all areas well cared for ,we would definitely return 😊
