Campo di Fiori, Maisons de Charme

When we arrived at Campo di Fiori, we were warmly welcomed! After Marie showed us around the whole place, we finally got into our beautiful and lovely decorated suite. It was very clean, had a lot of space and a great terrace. Marie provided us with a lot of recommendations what we should not miss to see in the Calvi area. It was really helpful for us since we are Corsica-Newbies. The location of Campo di Fiori is perfect. It's a very quiet place to relax and calm down but simultaneously, it's very close to the beach (5-10 min walk) and to the center of Calvi (15-20 min walk). Our highlight at this location were the small turtles in a separate enclosure where guests can go and feed those sweeties. All in all, it was a great pleasure to stay at this lovely place. Unfortunately, it was only for three days. I'm convinced we'll come back and stay a little longer next time.

Campo De Fiori is a magical place to stay in Calvi. The location is ideal - it's a short walk to the beach and town. And convenient driving distance to other beaches and destinations. Marie, Jean Charles and their staff maintain an immaculate manicured property. The little cottages were spotless and charming. I would rate this as an all time top accommodation and fairly priced. The personnel is exceptionally accommodating and the location is perfect. I would come back for sure! The area is very silent but in walking distance of the beach and also the city center. The recommendations given to me were great.

We really enjoyed our stay, it was our first wedding anniversary and we were warmly welcomed by the staff. We were adviced were to eat, where to go and that's to them we discovered really great places. We truly recommend this place, it is close to everything- supermarkets,beach, the city center is just nearby in walkable distance. The villas are clean, well-maintaned and so beautiful decorated.

Enchanting! Amazing! Paradise! This is what you will feel the moment you set foot on the oasis that is Campo di Fiori. Don’t expect just a hotel. This place is so much more than that. We stayed in a lovely cottage, Onda Fresca. Words cannot describe its charm and attention to detail. There are 2 bedrooms, with extremely cozy beds, nice linens, plenty of soft towels, great shower, well equipped kitchette with kettle, coffee machine, microwave, refrigerator, electric stove and all of the plates, pots and utensils you need to make a simple meal. Wi-Fi is available on the entire grounds. The grounds and garden are straight out of a fairy tale. Our terrace had a large table and 3 lounge chairs. The cottage and terrace were so enjoyable there were some days we chose not to leave and explore the city but instead enjoy reading, napping and listening to the birds on the padded, fluffy lounge chairs. The location is excellent, 5 min walk to the beach. You can rent a pair of chairs and umbrella for just 15 euros for the day. It’s an 8 min walk to restaurants with excellent Corsican cuisine and the Citadel with lovely sunset views. But I have yet to get to the best of our stay — the hosts of Campo di Fiori. Jean-Charles, Eva, Claire and JC’s mom, Marie. Their anticipation of your needs, attention to detail, willingness to do anything they can to make sure this is the happiest holiday of your life. I would to call it excellent service, but it is so much more than that. I had several needs arise ranging from medical to technical and a few things in between. I was a more needy guest than usual and everyone was so polite and willing to help me. This is not just good service, it is the type of care you would give to your own family. Jean-Charles will let you know all the best places to eat, where to sit on the beach, nice drives you can take…all of the good experiences to have during your stay, just ask. If you come to Corsica, you must stay here. Even if you weren’t planning on stopping in Calvi, do it. Stay here a week. I’ve been to more than 20 countries, stayed in plenty of chic 5-star hotels, Campo di Fiori is by far the best experience I’ve had. Thank you our magnificent hosts at Campo di Fiori. The place is really nice. Around a central commonly used area the different rooms and houses are located. The central area is very spacious and provides lots of space for sitting and relaxing in the sun, as well as for barbecue. The rooms / appar**ents, are big and providing beside a private bathroom also a little kitchen. The place is close to the old town of Calvi as well as to the beach, all in walking distance, as well as a super market and some shops for the daily needs (tratieur, boulangerie, some small restaurants and imbiss, etc.). The owners and the staff of Campo di Fiori are super friendly and helping with all problems. The hotel staff makes very good recommendations for day trips as well as for restaurants and helps with all the bookings and organisations. I would like to thank the team of Campo di Fiori a lot for the super nice stay, I enjoyed my time in Calvi really a lot.

We had a lovely experience at Campo di Fiori. The staff were incredibly helpful and went out of their way to help us with any questions we had, things we needed for the apar**ent, suggestions for good local restaurants as well as helping with admin for the flight home and booking our taxi. The site is very peaceful and we had a lovely apar**ent for the 5 of us. The beach was a short walk away, shops are close by and the town is easy to walk to in 15 minutes depending on your speed. Other nice touches were beach toys to borrow and access to a barbecue. The grounds are lovely as was our own outdoor area. Highly recommended!
