Hotel Bahia

There’s a lot to like about this hotel, but the rooms are not one of them, we had a dark side room, which got no sunshine & the lighting in the room was really poor & over looked a car parking area, it really spoilt our visit, we asked twice to be moved and each time the reception took our number but never called or offered another room, 9 nights in this room got a bit depressing. Most of the rooms around us seemed to be very similar. But we had lots going on playing Tennis & nice meals out. I thought with me bringing another 22 tennis friends to this hotel would at least got us a pleasant room & being a big birthday celebration while we were there. Also on the Saturday it was hired out to a private party which took over the hotel, even a bouncy castle outside our room, guests were very much not thought of that day. Now to the positives, staff were very friendly & helpful (except getting us a half decent room) the pool was lovely although near the main road, I like the old style of the hotel & its quirkiness, but rooms need a serious overhaul, the actually bed was very comfy although the iron head board wasn’t, great breakfast again staff excellent. Food in the hotel was lovely has a few lunches there. Great position for the beach & shops.

Convenient position for hotel near the beach and town. Very warm welcome. Hotel with character. No lift though. Food great restaurant staff Great. Rooms comfortable too. Pool bar staff not so friendly. Felt as though didn't want us there. Sunday lunch jazz was super.

Hotel Bahia is absolutely charming for a restful,quiet week away in the sun. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the rooms were cleaned every day including fresh towels. Breakfast was an array of anything you could possibly want. The food in the downstairs bar was delicious. 5 mins to a lovely beach with restaurants and bars. 5 mins to the main strip. Would highly recommend.

We have just come back from a 4 nights stay here. Originally booked in another hotel but was moved here as they overbooked. We were so happy to be moved here, the staff in this family run hotel are so accommodating and friendly. We really enjoyed the feel of this place and the relaxed atmosphere. It is even closer then our booked hotel to an amazing beach. The breakfast is so good, with lots of choice. We were on half board where the starter and main is a set menu to pick from, I like this idea and every option I had on my stay we enjoyed, the buffet dessert was lovely too. The rooms were cool and I like having a bath and shower option so was perfect for me. The hotel also did a great lunch, the club sandwich was yummy. Would come here again, the whole area is picturesque.

This hotel is the perfect antidote to the soulless, multi-storey white buildings you so often find in holiday resorts and has plenty of charm and character with beautiful lush gardens. The beach is a short 3 minute walk away and the hotel is based at the end of the main street in paguera, making the location relatively quiet but within easy walking distance of bars, shops and restaurants. Breakfast had plenty of options and is served in a buffet style. The pool and bar area are very well maintained and were cleaned daily during our stay. Hotel staff were brilliant, and nothing was too much trouble. A great experience.

My friend and I were really looking forward to this holiday and we were not disappointed. The hotel I’ve read as “old fashioned” I’d say it was quaint. Breakfast -very good Room- great and lots of cupboards, small balcony Cleanliness - spot on Bar and restaurant- again very good Pool and pool area/ gardens- clean and well kept. Staff - helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Our 1st stay at the Bahia, hopefully it will not be the last. Great location as well near beach and promenade and local bus will take you into the Capital Palma about 40 mins. Great holiday ( sun shone too 🌞)
