Hotel Review: Mixed Experiences During Opening Day Stay Arriving on the hotel's opening day, I was greeted by a cordial and accommodating staff who promptly changed our room to a twin bedroom upon request. Their attentiveness was commendable, and the reception staff remained helpful throughout the stay. Room Condition: Needs Improvement Unfortunately, the room itself did not meet expectations. While spacious and reasonably maintained, it had not been thoroughly cleaned. A stale smell would have been expected and understood from a room being closed for an extended period, but visible dirt indicated that no proper cleaning had been conducted since the previous guest's stay. The bathroom, in particular, was a letdown, with a fragile shower door that seemed on the verge of falling apart and a non-functional hairdryer—though the receptionist promptly provided a replacement upon request. Dining Experience: Disappointing Hygiene The food itself was a highlight, consistently delicious and satisfying. However, the dining experience during the "gala dinner" was marred by the presence of cockroaches roaming between tables, which was unsettling and unacceptable in a food service area. This encounter raised significant concerns about hygiene and detracted from what should have been a celebratory meal. Spa Experience: Perfect Escape On a brighter note, the spa was a flawless experience, offering a well-maintained and relaxing environment that truly deserved a 10/10 rating. Overall While the staff's professionalism and the quality of the food were commendable, the lack of cleanliness, poor bathroom maintenance, and hygiene issues during dining cannot be overlooked. These initial missteps during the hotel's reopening were disappointing but fixable. I hope the management addresses these concerns promptly, as there is clear potential for this establishment to offer a much better experience. Rating: 3/5
