Nice relaxing week (shame it rained for 2 days not hotels fault!). 20 mins walk along lovely coastline into main resort (if you like supermarkets and restaurants). The hotel water is not drinkable and upon arriving at 2am there was nowhere to get any. Please leave a bottle of water in the room for late night arrivals or at least put a vending machine in your lobby. You can't buy bottled water in this hotel (only in a glass from the bar) so you have to go to the supermarket up the road. Our towels were not changed the whole week, the beds were uncomfortable and sometimes no top sheet provided? Weird. There is a kettle so bring your own tea bags/coffee etc. Safe is extra money. There is a handy mini fridge in the room for milk/water etc. Staff pleasant, pool nice, sunbeds aplenty. Canteen feel around restaurant, food was mostly v.nice but much of the meat and fish was overdone. Overall good value for money on our tui deal.

What an absolute delight, not a new hotel but very well kept. The staff really are excellent, so helpful. The resort itself is quiet, with its own beach away from the crowds. If you want a busy night life scene, then this is not for you. Great all round family entertainment, kids activities, disco and games. Food is good, so fresh, loads of choice. Rooms large and spacious for us, well serviced, bathroom well appointed. Would definitely stay there again.

Best hotel we have stayed in . The staff are so friendly. Location couldn’t be closer to the beach. David’s entertainment was brilliant. The food could be hit or miss. Our room had a fantastic sea view. We’re definitely coming back next June, this time for 2 weeks

A absolutely lovely hotel all staff reception, bar waiting staff, dining room staff, cleaners, are so friendly and approach able. Lovely location on the beach the view doesn't get any better, the best hotel bed, great choice of food, drinks

Just got back from our 14th visit to this fabulous hotel. We had a superior sea view room and wow what a view 10/10. The staff are always smiling and very friendly. The prices for the drinks are reasonable. The food is good and lots of variety could always find some to eat and the desserts are to die for. The entertainment this year is very very good don't miss George Pena a very funny man and a great opera singer. All the bands got the guests dancing. David the entertainment manager is great how he remembers all the kids names is amazing, he never stops and always has a laugh with the guests. The only suggestion I would make is to put a shelf on the wall in the shower to put your toiletries on. Can't wait to book for next year .

Fantastic hotel in beautiful location . Food was great far exceeded our expectations.drinks priced well . Ample sun beds . Room was spotless and bright . we just loved everything about it . Entertainment was good . Perfect place will definitely be returning.

We had a fabulous holiday at Hotel Son Bauló. It’s perfectly situated next to the beach in a quiet area of the town. Our sea facing room was light and spacious with everything we needed. The hotel (first opened in 1968!) has a retro charm, is spotlessly clean and well maintained. All the staff were very friendly, helpful and professional, the food delicious, and the entertainment exceptional. I would thoroughly recommend staying there.

we came back from our 4th holiday in Hotel Son Baulo and have already booked our 5th stay for next year. Its a joy to go to go back to a hotel where the staff recognise you. The location is awesome, its very clean, the food is good, the beds are comfortable, We slept well every night and the staff are fantastic. you are getting a 5 star experience for a 3 star price

We were a group of 20 staying in various standards of rooms available. Some were refurbished and had better quality of facilities, like a walk in shower. My room was supposed to be a superior room however had a dated bathroom with a shower curtain which stuck to you when trying to wash. The rooms were serviced each day except a Monday. The standard of service was varied, some days the floors did not seem to be swept. However with the exception of the rooms the rest of the hotel was clean and well maintained. There were always sunbeds available even after breakfast and lots of quiet areas to enjoy the sunshine. The food was of a good standard especially for a 3 star hotel. Breakfast and evening meals could be very busy and the dining area very warm. The hotel could really benefit from an outside area to eat at these times. You can have lunch outside from the lunch menu or at the pool bar. Lots of choice and reasonable prices for this. I felt the soft drinks and all drinks were above the local bar prices and there are bars and restaurants close by to choose from. Location is excellent, in the quieter area of can pic, but an easy and flat walk into town takes around 30 minutes but I preferred the area of the hotel. It's right on the beach with lovely walks along the coast to ruins. The staff are fantastic, very helpful and always had a smile 😃. I wouldn't rush back to this hotel however would recommend to others.
