Seashell Suites and Villas- Candolim Goa

The rooms, ambience and the staff are all amazing. The owners are very friendly and welcoming, which is very rare. Seashells is a very safe and friendly place to stay, even for single women. The cleanliness is also top notch. Last but not the least, the food... amazingly tasty food... mocktails, cocktails, appetizers, main course, every item that we had was delicious. The breakfast buffet is also very extensive. This was our first time stay at Seashells... and we shall definitely come back to Seashells everytime we visit Goa... Special thanks to the owner, Mr. Gonsalves (father & son) and his team of beautiful angels... Thank you all for making us feel so comfortable and welcome...

Staff are excellent, hotel is spotless and rooms are big and airy. Good supply of chilled water and a/c !! Plenty of good restaurants outside the door and taxis etc . Owner of hotel makes it his business to greet and chat to all. Pool area very good with 3 pools to choose from all with relaxing green areas .. special thank you to Sandesh who was so helpful and genuinely friendly!

Goa can be very busy, noisy and dusty. This resort really is a little oasis of tranquility. Beautiful, clean (thank you Prashant and friends) and spacious rooms. The service in particular was amazing. Breakfast buffet is definitely not the biggest but most things are cooked to order and delivered quickly. English or Indian options. Owner was often around and chatting to guests. Came across as a genuinely nice guy and employer. Loads of restaurants in easy walking distance. Saw lots of colourful birds including stunning kingfisher. Gardeners constantly keeping grounds immaculate. 3 pools to choose from with easy access.

We stayed in 3 bedroom Villa . Villa was excellent , spacious and neatly maintained.Staffs were very much friendly .Food also tasted good.It was raining continuously, but still could manage going out with help of umbrellas provided by the resort

Just got home back to the UK following a most wonderful visit to Candolim in Goa . We stayed at the Seashell Suites and Villas in the heart of the town . What a Fabulous place to spend the 9 days we had there . From the wonderful greeting to the final goodbyes, we were treated by the best staff or as described by the boss as his ‘Angels’ from start to finish. Angels they all are and we would like to thank all of them once again for everything they did for us during our stay . The happy greetings , conversations and the courtesy that was showed to us will never be forgotten. The hotel itself is a jewel set in lovely gardens with 3 pools that are immaculately looked after , everywhere is spotless . The location could not be better with bars , restaurants , supermarkets , atms and the beach all within easy walking distance. It was indeed our pleasure to stay here and once again you have our full appreciation for everything, THANK YOU! Martin and Wendy

Good staff , nice food, clean rooms. Best to book is villa if you are traveling with family and friends..... this was our second stay here. Strongly suggest to all who are travellering with family as hotel is walking Distance to beach and market.

We visited with a large family and two kids of different ages. We were pleasantly surprised by the hospitality, energy and promptness shown to us by each and every member of the staff, right from the doorkeepers to Aasha in the reception, the Chef, cleaning staff and the restaurant staff. Omkar and Sandesh in the restaurant would greet us and tend to our family every day in the morning buffet service and make sure their staff serves us everything as per our customisation. The rooms are a highlight of the property. They are bright, clean and extremely large and spacious. Plus they come with a balcony. They are well equipped with all the necessary kit (toiletries, tea coffee sachets, electric kettle, plenty of towels, tissue paper dispensers and rolls). Also they have two TVs in the room with two separate TV units, which I have never seen in any hotel room. There is a also a separate spacious seating area next to the bed. The standards maintained are at par with star properties costing 4-5 times as much as this room easily. The buffet spread was adequate but most importantly, every item on the menu was well-made with attention to taste and guest requirement. There are three swimming pools in the property which are open from morning to 7pm. The large one is best for family groups. The beach is a ten minute walk from the hotel, through a small market. The doorkeeper will provide you with XL-sized umbrellas om request. Also near the restaurant are many good restaurants offering a lively atmosphere for dinner. The hotel also has a game room for kids with chess, ludo, carrom, etc but we did not try it out. The owner of the property, Mr Shelly Gonzalves, a senior and well-respected businessman, visits daily and interacts with the guests himself. His passion is visible in the way he speaks to the guest and his angels (he hates referring to his employees as staff). It is clear that he has been working patiently towards the happiness and well-being of the staff for a long time because the staff supports and diligently follows the values and protocols that he has instilled into them for successfully running the hotel. For them, the guest is as important to them as they themselves are to the owner. In summary, this been a memorable stay in a hotel with standards equal to, and many times surpassing star properties costing 5 times the price of equally equipped rooms. What it maybe lacks in expanse, it makes up in attention to detail, hospitality and promptness. Wishing all the staff good luck and best wishes for the future

The entire experience with Seashell has been absolutely amazing. 2 days prior to our arrival, they liaised with me for faster check in process since we were arriving late in the night and that too with an infant. On the day of the arrival, we were very late in reaching the property. The restaurant time was well passed; yet they happily took the pain and put in extra effort to prepare food for us and especially for my daughter. Entire hotel staff has been exceptionally professional, courteous. They always greet you with a smile and never miss an opportunity to make your stay memorable . What also caught my attention is that the top management including the owner makes it a routine to connect with each and every guest and check on their needs. This is phenomenal. Leaders must lead by example....i think this was very evident in their culture. Coming to the property, it was at a walking distance from Candolim beach and had multiple hang out places in walking distance. We booked Junior Suites; it was beautiful. All the amenities, cleanliness throughout the property and the view....everything just worked in favour of the property. We did not try all the food....but mostly they were tasty and sufficient in quantity and reasonable pricing compared to outside restaurants' pricing. They offered parking for the guests. The property offered 2 swimming pools with availability of poolside bar. And yes, apart from a refreshing welcome drink, we were also offered a tasty cake (it is offered to all the guests) on the night after our arrival. Overall.....not only me, my wife and my infant daughter loved the stay. I would highly recommend the property to my family, friends, relatives and everyone who is planning a trip to Goa.
