Great place to enjoy the outdoors, wildlife and canyon lake. Hotel makes it easy to spend time with the family. Kids love the place with all the amenities on site, especially feeding the deer. Very convenient to bring your kayaks and drive down to the boat ramp in the morning to hit the lake

Nice cozy place wished it had 2 bedrooms instead of pull out couch. It could use some pictures on the wall, lamp shade in bedroom, new mattress on the pull-out- bed. We enjoyed feeding the deer and walking around the area. The cleaning lady was very pleasant to talk with.

We stayed in unit 3 and overall, it was really nice. Needs some updating though. Not a complaint, just some observations. In the bathroom there was no cover to the ceiling fan vent, allowing it to have exposed live electrical wires. The shower water pressure was low most of the time. Perhaps add some new lines for parking too. The TV was hard to turn on. Maybe needs new batteries. Other than that, it was a nice clean room, beds were comfortable, and the AC worked great! Deer everywhere and thanks for the Deer food.

Stayed in upstairs lodge. Deck not private. We could hear and smell loud conversation and cooking from downstairs until late at night. Bed and linens old and needing replacing. Disappointed with difficulty finding anyone to help. Was overpriced for the stay / area in off-season.

Cheap-looking and dirty motel however surprisingly expensive. I've stayed in many different hotels before but this one is the worst I swear. Dirty bathroom. The bed sheets look like housekeeper forgot to change it after previous guests. No privacy. You will be " enjoying" somebody's loud music even late evening. Don't waste your money and don't ruin your vacation. For the same amount of money you can get a decent room at the hotel that might be not so close to the lake but definitely will not be frustrating.
