Toparadis Guest House

Lovely place with a nice pool and beanbags to chill. Breakfast you had to order the night before which was a bit annoying as we were unsure of our plans due to the weather. Very friendly staff. Location is near the beach and next to bus stop. Parking also available. Did not try the restaurant.

Very lovely staff. The cleaners were excellent and room was kept very clean. The air conditioning is also very good. We would return.

Toparadis is great stay - doesn’t break the bank. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The staff are all lovely and are always there to help and the food is good. Very short walk over the road to a beautiful beach. Some restaurants are 300/400m down the road. Recommended.

The beach in front of the hotel is one of the most beautiful. However the hotel need some improvment: - breakfast is too light, no enough choice, and can only be take at 8am not before. it too late for the activity around the island. - equipment in the room are too poor. bedside light missing in the children bedroom, hair dryer can only be use in the saloon (due to the socket), TV not working in the saloon.remote control for the tv in bedroom not found. - I rent a car with the hotel. should be 7 places. we got 5 places but for the price of 7 places. - not enough place for the parking in the hotel.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this hotel! The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, and the room was clean, comfortable, and beautifully decorated. The amenities were top-notch, and the on-site restaurant served delicious food. The location was perfect, with easy access to nearby attractions. Incredible team of staff, affordable drinks at the bar, lovely beach nearby, but the place is not fit for young families (6 years or less). Thankfully the owner let us leave early to find a more suitable place for us to holiday with our young kids. But highly recommend the place is marked not appropriate for children under 6.

We needed a bed for one night as we were moving into our apartment the day after arrival in Mauritius. AS luck would have it Cyclone Batsirai messed with all our plans. We nearly didn't make it on the day as flights were on/off/on/off/on. Aurore was so so sweet in my emails with her and assured me that our bed would be waiting for us 'when' we got there. Our flight went ahead on the day but delayed to ensure the worst effects of the cyclone had passed. Our keys were left as promised at security. On arrival at midnight our room was ready and waiting for two weary travellers. Our move to our apartment was delayed for four days and so we asked if we could continue our stay. The team were VERY accommodating. I can't say enough about the WHOLE team who made a huge effort to keep us happy, fed and entertained. The rooms are comfortable, serviceable and clean, the bathroom a ballroom (fairly newly renovated), ample packing space/cupboard. Breakfast was great and well worth taking - who wants to run around when on holiday finding breakfast. Dinner was a real treat - I can highly recommend the chicken and prawn curry, the stuffed chicken, loved the prawn and ginger starter and tuna. The chef should be commended highly. The swimming pool was absolutely divine, super clean and sparkling. Can I say again that the WHOLE TEAM were fantastic - they made us feel so welcome. And most spoke EXCELLENT English for those travellers who may feel unsure of French. After we moved into the apartment we went back for dinner again and it felt like coming home. Casual diners are welcomed (and are able to use the pool area) which I found most charming as it meant that there was a hustle and bustle and a good vibe all the time. Thank you to EVERYONE at Toparadis. We may not stay with you again because we have our own place BUT we WILL be back for your delightful food and welcome.

We booked this place via ******* after it was recommended by the Dive Centre we were using. It is ideally situated about 8mins easy walk from the main centre of Pereybere and just over the road from a beautiful beach although at high tide there isn't much left. The apartment is ideally furnished with a very comfortable bed, fridge, TV and wardrobe with hairdryer and the bathroom which is big has a walk in shower. We had a balcony with chairs and table for sitting out whatever the time of day. The apartment also had Aircon and our room was cleaned everyday. They provide you with towels, hair/body wash and hand-wash as Mauritius has banned all single use plastics and everyone is being asked to comply over the next few years. Toparadis also has a restaurant and we had booked breakfast which was really lovely, a choice of cereals, eggs, bread, fruit, yoghurt and a little something special each day. This is a French business but we were able to comfortably interact with both staff and guests. Lovely pool and poolside chairs/ loungers. Would recommend as an alternative to a expensive hotel
