Fairly clean, our TV did not work. Some rooms on wifi and our's was on Dish Network and there were problems with Dish. Tiki Bar/Restaurant had good reasonably priced food. On a whole, rooms were clean, needs to be updated.

Lower rooms brand new. Nice and clean. Great staff.
If you are noise sensitive - new frig is loud.
Also ask to get instructions for funky shower head when checking in .

The room a musty smell. Tv had very limited stations and was probably the smallest tv I have ever seen in a hotel. No

The Dolphin Key in Cape Coral is a classic and comfortable retro motel. Check in was easy, room was clean and comfortable, pool and tiki hut looked very inviting.

There isn’t a top sheet and you have to use the comforter only. There is no layer in between.

Staff was friendly and very accommodating. Room was clean, linens fresh, water hot. It had a refrigerator . I was disappointed it did not have a microwave, so you can not reheat your leftovers. They close office at 8pm. So, I suggest you make sure you have enough towels and whatever your needs are before 8 pm. Not in walking distance to stores or gas station.

The communication was very good. Room was clean. Rates were reasonable.I liked that there is a restaurant on the property. The pool area is cozy and peaceful. I would definitely stay here again.

The motel itself could use some updating. The rooms were pretty clean but outdated. The shower didn’t drain, and the fan in the bathroom didn’t work so after showering the humidity in the room was extreme, causing the floors to be slippery. All of the staff at both the motel and the bar were amazing. Very friendly and accommodating. Location is great, and the tiki bar is awesome. The tiki bar has music most evenings. Motel is within walking distance to shopping/restaurants/bars. Even though the building/rooms need some love, because of the location and wonderful staff, we would definitely go back!
