Check-in @3:00, arrived @5:30. Cleaning staff still working. Front desk had to see if my room was ready before checking me in. The handicap accessible room(for a disabled person) was on the 4th floor at the end of the hallway away from the elevators. I questioned this, was told this was the only place for enough room to allow for the handicapped accessibilities. The shower was a tub/shower, not a walk-in shower. No ice or vending machines on the 4th floor. 2nd and 3rd floor only. Advertised online & at hotel 24/7dining & service. NO dining, no food except vending machine. The front desk said they could do up a frozen pizza. Didn’t even assist with nearby restaurants. Free continental breakfast from 6:30-9:30, at 7:00 fried potatoes were cold, sausage patties & links cold, out of bacon, didn’t make more, out of eggs, didn’t make more, bread was stale, no toaster, no other hot breakfast such as waffles, no fruits, cereals were stale (not individual servings), no milk, no water to drink. Did have juices and coffee, no tea. Nothing as advertised. Everything I looked for when I was booking online they ended up not having as advertised. BIG inconvenience. Asked about a refund to go to a different hotel. The front desk couldn’t authorize. It had to be from a manager, neither onsite or available. They were sorry unhappy but they couldn’t do anything about it. Beds were uncomfortable, had body indentations. Room clean & big. Next to IU Med Cancer center. The only pluses.
