Hotel was very clean, and I have high standards! Staff was friendly and helpful. As another reviewer stated, this is not a luxury hotel, but it did provide very comfortable accommodations in a wonderful location near the beach in Santa Barbara. It even provided a covered parking spot for my car!

Santa Barbara has become massively expensive, yes this is something that’s relatively new over the last three years since I’ve been going quite a lot as my godson lives there. My usual hunt was the Hilton on East Beach. Their prices have become of seen without me being able to find anything below 650 to 900 per night anymore. So, I needed a bit of a budget motel and this came in around $400 with taxes per night, maybe this is a little bit high for the time, but, it may have been because it was a special gay pride weekend. Not sure. I like to be extremely honest in these reviews and it’s no offense to the hotel. I will say that the office staff was one of the highlights because they were gentle and kind of nice. I might say that don’t come early and expect to get a room because they don’t check you in until after 3 PM. I’m not sure why they didn’t let me in because they had rooms clean at my rate, was exhausted from getting up at 4 AM to make it to California. It’s not a huge deal. There is no pool, they have a few bicycles to rent, there is free parking in the motel but I don’t think they have enough spaces for all the guest. This was a plus having free parking. No, this is a single level very budget motel. The door to the rooms open directly into a parking lot. The good thing is these rooms are extremely clean, nice bedding, comfortable pillows, tiny bathroom and closet but the bathroom was immaculate and had a nice modern tiled shower. they have a coffee maker in the room and also serve coffee in the motel little lobby. The coffee is pretty good. They have a very simple breakfast with fresh fruit and pastries and hard-boiled eggs! For me that was a big plus because I love hard-boiled eggs for breakfast. I wasn’t up to my normal physical activity, but next time I will definitely utilize the bicycles which are included with your stay. Overall, this place is a bit charming. I hope I can find a time within the next year to come back and hopefully it won’t be on some very expensive weekend. Location is excellent as everyone says half a block from the beach, West Beach and very close to State Street.

GGuest UserGreat hotel for a family vacation. We selected this property because we wanted to stay close to Santa Barbara but not pay the high prices. Hotel is about a 7 min direct drive to Santa Barbara. We were so pleasantly surprised how cool and charming the town of Carpinteria was. We were so glad to get a break from the tourists in Santa Barbara and get a locals vibe in Carpinteria. The hotel was exceptional. The staff was overly friendly, accommodating, and helpful. The property was immaculate. The pool was small but very comfortable and well maintained. The room was cozy, well working air conditioning, and very clean. The breakfast got a bit busy with only one working toaster. The outdoor seating area for breakfast was fantastic. Free parking with a huge parking lot was a big plus. Recommend selecting a room facing the front of hotel away from the highway since that seems to be the quieter side of the hotel. Highly recommend staying at this hotel!

XXIAOTIANThe parking lot is large and the location is at the high-speed ramp. The hotel is very tropical in style and all are electric doors. It feels very high-end, but there is no breakfast and it is not far to Camarillo Outlet.

平平安是福The location is relatively remote, it takes more than half an hour to take a taxi from the UCSB campus to the hotel, and the fare + tips are about $40. There is an Albertsons supermarket and convenience store around, there is a small swimming pool, nothing else. There is a public bus at the entrance of the hotel lobby to the city, but it is still necessary to transfer to another bus to UCSB to the city, about an hour and a half.
Although the price is cheaper, the location is not very convenient.

DDe BMe and my family stayed at motel 6 north in carp. The staff There is great they are the most friendliest staff I have came across in awhile. I highly recommend this location for long term stay or short term.
