camera molto bella e spaziosa, luogo tranquillissimo e splendido, immerso nel verde ! ottima privacy.... la colazione, abbondante, è fornita presso il 5* attiguo Villa Principe Leopoldo, in una cornice incantevole, con un panorama mozzafiato sul lago ! se fosse inclusa nel prezzo, sarebbe veramente il paradiso 😀invece, va pagata a parte.....del resto, in questo mondo non si può avere tutto 😉😉 un hotel da tenere in considerazione, merita !

Positives: The location of the hotel is so tranquil. Beautiful just after sunrise or sunset. The SPA is amazing, with emotional shower, sauna, turkish sauna, relaxation room, massage area, fitness studio, indoor pool with cold and hot jacuzzis, and outdoor pool with a heated outdoor hot tub (both closed on this occasion, unfortunately). Plenty of towels in SPA area. Tea/water facilities available. Perfect facilities for relaxation. The shower in the room is something every person needs in their life: one feels like a newborn after it. Especially useful when SPA area is closed but one needs to relax after a long day :) We checked in very late (was a very spontaneous decision) and were welcomed in an appropriate manner - the last time we were treated like we didn't belong there (!). We enquired about a late checkout possibility, but were told to ask the next day. After some relaxing spa we did - and were offered to stay longer free of charge as it was Easter weekend. We checked out at 1 (instead of 11), meaning we had 2 more hours to enjoy the SPA area. Very grateful for this accommodation. Robes available in the room. Secure underground parking, free of charge. Complimentary bottles of water in the room and at checkout, a nice touch. Negatives: The breakfast is not great. This is our second stay and we are underwhelmed - we had better breakfast spread/quality in 3-4 star hotels before. There's no quark, cereal selection is poor, no Nutella, coffee is not good at all. The SPA area is open only between 8 am and 8 pm, meaning no late chilling in the jacuzzi. For a 5 star resort I would imagine this should be available 24/7 or at least till 10 pm. As mentioned previously, the lift system is bad, meaning one has to wait very long to use the lift to access the SPA/Restaurant/outdoor swimming pool.

Excellent in all! Absolutely wonderful location (only accessible with taxi) whether day or night! A wonderful DeLuxe room with sea view! The size, the materials of highest quality and finest design. Eat excellent in the Bistro, since full booked in the restaurant! Unfortunately only one night a.Gr. of much work also in Lugano (visit a super performance in the art and culture center). The fitness/sauna was unfortunately closed, but private spa was bookable before departure Sunday morning ... good alternative. The gardens around the sky! The team was super professional, extremely friendly and helpful. Good and dream of my next visit to Villa Leopold ...Heartly recommended for enjoying the fine and good ... Denise Worlds in Zurich

Very pleasant stay at The View, the view from the room is really beautiful. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The amenities in the Junior Suite were good, although the many LED lights that could not be turned off at night were annoying.

I stayed only one night as my preferred hotel was fully booked and I was forced into hotel city lugano. I was pleasantly surprised. The staff was the kindest I have ever encountered anywhere in the world. Sure the decor isnt anything to praise and they dont have room service or other basics but it is clean and efficient. I have to say one more time that the staff here is just amazing, every single one of them. I would recommend this hotel.

We had a wonder stay for two nights. The hotel is a classic with lots of history and a perfect location for walking to the town or enjoying a swim in the Lake. The formal restaurant was outstanding. Be sure to ask for a room with a view of the lake. The Pizza restaurant was perfect for a casual dinner with a great view.

[Suitenhotel Paco Paradiso] (Lugano Station) The hotel is not at Lugano train station, closer to the next stop Paradiso. Out of the train station, you need to push the luggage to go uphill, walk 15-20min, very tiring. The hotel is built on the hillside and on the mountain, so Lobby is on the 2nd floor. And we booked the terrace room, in the PL floor, lawn, recliner, lake view, sunset... After all, it belongs to the Italian-speaking area, so the staff looks more like a passionate Italian. When checking in, there will be a welcoming welcome drink and a coupon to print the name of the occupant. The blonde glasses sister at the front desk will send us to the room and introduce the hotel facilities and opening hours all the way. At the moment of opening the door, I was shocked. The room area is not limited to the 24 square meters marked on the website. It is so big... Once the bedroom is in another room, the living room will be very spacious. The large writing desk is convenient for me to open the computer to process the mail. In the living room, two pull-down children's beds are hidden, which is suitable for a family of four.
