Hotel Sette E Mezzo

I stayed here for a yoga retreat, it was a perfect location surrounded by nature. Many of the meals we ate included herbs and vegetables grown locally. The owner of the hotel Massimo showed us many herbs used in the food growing at the hotel and we tried some fresh strawberries. We had the opportunity to make our own pizzas with Massimo’s father as our teacher. It is a great location to hike from and there are some interesting places to visit in the surrounding village including a small museum that studies how plants can be used as natural medicine. Massimo is very helpful and was happy to give us information about the local area and places to visit. Thank you!

Family run hotel that welcomes you as part of the family. massimo would do everything to make his guests happy stuning view int nature and hills. ask for room vith view. very authentic fresh homemade food. especially different type of pasta very tasty and unique.

Such a beautiful place! It was the most stunning view from hotel I’ve ever had in my life. We did a Yoga Retreat in the hotel and I can’t imagine better place. Massimo helped us with any requests and overcome any possible expectations with his hospitality. Tranquility of the place, spacious terras with spectacular view, National Park nearby, tastiest food, all that made our retreat very special. We’ll come back 🙏

Wonderful view from the restaurant and the rooms, just great to wake up with that view! Nice dinner at the restaurant, with local food and local wines. Breakfast could be improved.

We stayed for 1 week in this nice hotel. We felt like part of the family. The owner Massimo is very kind and helpful. His father, signor Pietro, is the chef and prepared truly amazing dishes. Their homemade peperoni marmelade is a gem! Breakfast is Italian style: espresso/cappuccino, cornetto (croissant with filling) and additionals like toast, jam/Nutella, yoghurt, juice and fresh fruits. We also had lunch and diners several times in the hotel. The food is excellent, local cuisine. Try their home made liqueur. Very special. The room was very comfortable: clean, spacious, enough space to store cloths and suitcases, a desk to work on and good WIFI. Furthermore a superb view on the valley and mountains. Airconditioning works well (controlled from the reception). Both room and bathroom were cleaned every day and towels are cleaned if they are put on the floor. Excursion tip: Go to (let somebody drop you of at) Santuario Madonna del Soccorso and walk the path down. It takes about 1,5 hour and you will enjoy great views. Use solid shoes and bring some water. Every fourth Sunday of September the faithful gather to take the statue of the Virgin and lead it in procession to the village, to the Mother Church.

The view is breath-taking. The staff is a family run business. You feel authentic Italian ambiancd and great service. The location and surroundings make this hotel the perfect choice. Do not hesitate to book!

Consigliatissimo. Abbiamo trascorso un weekend meraviglioso grazie all'accoglienza,la professionalità e l'ottimo cibo. Metà perfetta per scoprire i sapori e le meraviglie del Pollino. Il proprietario e la sua famiglia sono accoglienti e disponibili per ogni necessità, consiglio e accorgimento. Consiglio non solo l'hotel ma anche il ristorante annesso dove è possibile gustare ottimo cibo con rivisitazione di piatti tipici Lucani in chiave moderna e con esaltazione di tutto ciò che la montagna può proporre. Ottima anche la pizza. Siamo stati lì con i bambini trovando un luogo accogliente e ben disposto nei confronti dei più piccoli, personale attento a ogni esigenza. Grazie per la bellissima esperienza, posto consigliatissimo.
